uummm. No it's not. It's the Variable Inertia Charger System or VICS system that the screws come out of.

I have it in writing. When I find it I can scan it.
Outside of running your mouth what can you prove?
BlkZoomZoom said:So you are telling me that the screws fall out of the "Variable tumbler control solenoid". How do screws fall out of a solenoid mounted on top of the outside of the intake manifold? In fact that solenoid doesn't even have screws. If you meant " Variable Tumbler Control System" then maybe you would have some crediability. But you didn't, you are just quoting some tech. said. I garuntee he didn't even know the difference between the two. Not that this really matters in any way.
Why not try looking at some of my posts, find one I was wrong in.

keep in mind BlkZoom has much more credibility in this situation, so be prepared to have hard proof if youre going to call him out.

the document that they used when they repair the car.
VTCS
Like I said, I have the paper. Once I find it I can scan it.
Considering you claim it's your job, if you didn't know more than you should be fired.
But, according to you, you know more than the techs at University Mazda in Seattle. Perhaps you should be manager.

BlkZoomZoom said:"the document that they used when they repair the car." The Repair order I assume you mean.
I'm not even sure what you said was an argument or not. If they stated "VTCS" they meant to state "VICS", it's that simple.
I would never be happy with being the manager, I love working on cars.
Mazda P5 driver said:So...even if I scan it and it says VTCS they are still wrong?
Wow...your "tech" experience must be greater than the 25 years experience at University Mazda which happenes to be THE oldest dealership. 2nd built. the first closed down.
hahaha...you are a character and a joke.
