What have you done to your CX-9 today?

In NYC, it was so nice out that I finally went ahead and replaced the horns. Took off the front bumper (first time doing it to the CX-9). Honestly, trying not to break the plastic clips while taking off the bumper was probably the hardest part LMAO. I’m going to go ahead and replace both driver and passenger front wheel moldings next. I also noticed I was missing a couple screws and clips underneath so I’m going to replace those as well.

Was it difficult at all to replace the horns? What did you change them out with?

It wasn’t difficult at all. I initially removed the cable of the horns, then the bolts. The hi-note horn has two 10mm bolts, while the low-note had one. I replaced them with OEM horns. Both horns cost $102 with shipping and taxes, so not a bad deal in my opinion.

Did the polyfill mod for the Bose sub again.

Went ahead and replaced both side wheel moldings, as well as the underside plastic shields for the fog lights. While I was down there, I decided to remove the build-up of leaves too haha.

I finally got some time detail the exterior of the car. I washed the car, polished and coated the car. The close up are before and the full picture are the after pictures.
