How do the 18's effect ride quality and handling? How do they effect excelleration or braking?

Well, those are all affected. Depending how much your wheel will weigh. I.E. Ive seen some 18" wheels from ADR that weigh 28 lbs without Tires. That is heavy. But typically heavier the wheel, the more it will affect braking/accelartion. Ride quality is lost of course due to the fact that there is less rubber and handling.. You have a heavier wheel... It depends though. If you get a Light Weight wheel that is close to stock or even less weight than stock rims. It might acutally be better.

Cool I'll have to keep that in mind.

I'm still thinking I wang Eibach's with now lightweight 17's.

Hehe, we do offer Steel Forged 17" Racing Hart CP-035 wheels 17x7.5" wheels that weight about 14lbs. They customer made in Silver for our race cars. Theres 3 new ones and one that has been mounted only. They are $1,100 for the wheels. Heres a pic.

Redone
Don't call BS just yet my friend. You put 18's on your car and lowered 1.3 in. If you paid attention to detail you would have noticed that my FUTURE mods said some damn wheels which means yes I'm still riding on factory 16's shithead. And yes my car is loweed 3inches FRONT and BACK. I'm working on getting digital pics so I can shut your dumbass up. BTW redone, know what you're talking about before you call BS

lowering....

What a goof, have to use profanity on these boards.... Kids Hehehehe... why would you drop a stock p5 3 inches cant you afford the rest of the equip. And by the way its army thats Hoo Raa.

yes 3" drops do exist, but you need the right offset. for you guys I think you need at least a +48 to do it. Me, I did it with a +45, but its a mp3

If you all could help me figure out how to make an attachment from my e-mail to this thread I can download the pics. Please help, I'm not 100% pc compatible

I'm confused. Some are saying that we can fit 18's on a PR5 without rubbing but then Red One says his rub. I want to put 18's on mine, but I don't want to rub. Is it because his are 8 inches wide?
