whenever i try to launch in my msp thefront wheels sorta move back and forth. now i dont know if everyones does this, but it could be an alignment issue. it just feels like it cant grip it the steering wheels turns almost 180 even sometimes. this oculd really cause a crash. it even does this on flat roads. should i get my car checked out?

no its called torque steer if i understand what youre saying correctly. even when racing in my P5 i get it and have to adjust off the line. its a common problem with FWD vehicles.

don't launch the car so hard. if you do continue to launch it as hard, don't just dump the clutch. learn to 'feather' the clutch a bit more and you'll cut down on a lot of that torque steer while improving your speed at the same time.

yeah i notice when i launch it a lot softer i get more power, so i usually do that.

he is describing torque steer and i think wheel hop too because he says the "wheels sorta move back and forth", which is wheel hop.

if you're spinning the tires enough to get torque steer you're not driving it right. it should be pretty much non existant when launcehd properly

i feel ya brotha

I am expriencing the same ol thing. When i launch, i am launching only around 2000 rpm'z. I get the whole wheel hop thing going, and the tires just dont want to lock with the pavment. I could you any pointers there are. I saw the tip on feathering the clutch.....im new so explain to me in detail, does that mean, just easilly and lightly come off when you hit the gas?

AWR Motor Mounts

they have front and rear mounts for your motor that will stop your wheelhop at any launching rpm alot of people use them here oh and btw they cause alot of vibrations in the car

common things your friends will say when you start your car or come from a stop

holy s***
i cant hear my self talk
wtf
whats wrong with your car
damnnnnn
that feels good (gurls)
i have motor mounts too

Hmm after the flash I can lauch at 2500 on a dry road and sit still in the first two gears without a bit of wheelhop . Now in the wet it is terrible I have to be very careful with the throttle.

You will eventually compensate on instinct. You won't even think of it. If you think you have problems with torque steer...
