2017~2025 LED brake light strip with turn signal help.

I’m new to mods. I recently put a led strip in the front with turn signals and got it to work but the brake light is confusing. The specific led strip I bought is this one: https://a.co/d/8HFY1lG

edit: this post is about a brake light

I was able to open up the back and see the wiring. Something just isn’t clicking for me. The LED brake light wiring came with push pins so I thought id be able to just slide them in but honestly I don’t even think I’m doing it in the right place. I’ve looked at diagrams and videos.. something isn’t clicking for me. If anyone has any advice or can actually explain where I’m supposed to put these wires I’d appreciate it.

for one thing, you bought the wrong color... the front turn signals must be white or amber (yellow is passable)... any other color is illegal, so good luck trying to get help lol

Are you referring to the leds that replace the bumper reflectors?

no I am not (even though I actually just ordered those), I bought an actual LED brake light strip but I’m sure the wiring is the same as the reflectors. Did you install those on your car?
Yes. To wire it, I pulled the side panels in the cargo off a bit to acsess the oem wire harness for each side. Then I used the irwin wire stripper to expose each lead without cutting the wire, then soldered the leads from the new light to the correct color of each oem lead. There’s a map of the wire function on the circuit board of each tail light assembly. Just remove the tail light assembly and unplug the connector. Then you can see what wire is brake, running, turn and ground.
