Ordered my 8611-1257 Race and 8611-1259 Race with a 48x1.5 Glad Nut

The 1259 Race are really short but what I'm planning on doing is making a spacer that will fit insid ehte strut housing and raise up the insert to the right spec for the rears. I will have more info on this later.

The sport inserts will not have enough dampening but you can revalve them... Keep in mind that the race inserts will be close as far as maxing out the front rebound if you are using a 450lbs spring in the front. I think I will have to revalve mine soon but its to early to tell.

Have you measured the stroke of your suspension yet? How long are the H&R springs?

I have not yet made my set, but I will using the same gland nut Jeff used on his.

No money to spend on them right now. I'd rather save for tires, brakes and more track time. I'm hoping to switch jobs soon though, which will allow for more mod money.

I know what you mean, that koni setup is gonna be nice when its done. Lemme know how it goes! I'm actually trying to switch to a ground control/strut setup for this upcoming autox season...just gotta find some stock msp struts.
