Green coolant?

Wow! That's a lot of K's! How has the car's reliability been for you overall?
Overall - Fantastic.

The only real issue I have had with this car was the parking brake recall and an A/C leak. Otherwise, nothing but a pleasure to own and highly dependable.

Look around online. You will find Skyactiv owners with twice the mileage.

Normal like in the 190s and how much higher did it go when idling? I didn't know it wasn't supposed to do that. 😭

Unless I'm missing something this sounds normal for every car I've ever owned.

Normal operating temp is about 90c. It would climb to 115c at stoplights, then drop to 90c a few seconds after taking off from a stop. Some fluctuation is normal, but this was way too much fluctuation in a much shorter time.

Mine stay mostly at middle, sometime on right or left a bit. But been stable at least. Never noticed a large jump like you mentioned.

Thank you! 115C is about 240F so that's crazy hot. Now I know what signs to watch out for. 👍
