They don't make the F4i anymore, and I can't find a used one at a decent price. The dealer has a special on a 2008 model, with discounts off MSRP. That is why I am considering it, if that is why you are laughing. And I'm not new to bikes, asking about something I know nothing about. My insurance company was closed when I got to work so I couldn't get a quote from them. I don't get whats funny

and don't you own an RR? Why does age make a difference. And just so you know this is not a mommy daddy present, I was never given a silver spoon through life, if thats what your insisting

Dude....Its a joke regarding yor age and a SPort bike in regards to insurance...thats all...Geez.

AGE is a HUGE factor in pricing insurance for a SPort bike....Especially a SUpersport one.

If your not buying outright and your gonna finance...Prepare on I would guess at least $100+ a month....Every month....Not just riding season.

And I wouldnt be shocked to see a quote for double that either...Even with a clean record.

But a lot depends on your record, state, and how your insurance is rated there.
Hell....I am 31 and I still cant afford to keep full coverage on my bike....THey still want like $100 a month....F that.

out here even while financing, with my insurance company you don't have to have full coverage durring none riding season. The rates out here are alot cheaper also compared to NJ where I'm from, but I dont know how OH compares

Your insurance company doesn't get to make the call of whether you carry Full covereage or not...your finance company does.

And you answered your own question....Rates vary from place to place....You need to check your rates in your area for your specific situation.

I am gonna re-price Full again here soon...but I pay about $350 year for liability with Uninsured motorist protection....and I am 31...years without a violation....and my bike is an 06.
Want to buy mine....I am getting ready to sell it....and yes...Its one Bad ass Mofo.

You got pics of it with the wheels and the New CF as well?
It only has a whopping 3100 miles on it over three years...so yeah...It doesnt get out much.

Many insurance companies also have online tools to give you quotes...maybe check Progressive, Geico, and then some of the more traditional ones - Allstate, State Farm, Owners.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not cost prohibitive though, because of your age & the type of bike. Good luck!

Called today when they opened and I got quoted for $56 a month for full coverage. I love state farm and Minnesota

Seems way too low. I had a Gixxr 600 and then an R1, lumped with my car and my house insurance, clean record and it was still about 1k a year.

BTW, I don't believe they allow anything other than full coverage any more on bikes. At least in terms of the 4 or 6 month lay-up period that they used to offer during the winter months were you could just have fire and theft. I heard too many people were taking their bikes out on the one nice day during the winter so many companies don't offer it any more. Again, that just what I was told. Because I already had it with my company they let me keep it (grandfathered in).

I've got a 05 600rr and i have insurance through State Farm...It was the best deal i could find at the time...Not sure what the exact number is. I dont have full coverage because that's too much to spend...I would have already have paid the cost of my bike in insurance alone by now.
