Sorry, running around the town trying to find some nice Texas Rangers World Series Champions memorabilia! I was shocked to see the prices of these items. A simple T-shirt now is $50, not $5 ~ $10 on a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Champions T-shirt in 1990’s!@ yrwei52, where are you?
LOL. We survived without you, but just barelySorry, running around the town trying to find some nice Texas Rangers World Series Champions memorabilia! I was shocked to see the prices of these items. A simple T-shirt now is $50, not $5 ~ $10 on a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl T-shirt in 1990’s!
It seems like CX-5s built after Oct 2013 got the better crash safety rating. But the same IIHS website says those built before Nov 2013 received inferior ratings.Yes there was. They improved the front offset crash safety for one thing. Not sure if there were any other changes, but I don't recall any. I was bummed, 'cos the 2014.5 came out a coupla months after we bought our 2014 CX-5![]()
The reason why the 2016 CX-5 crash test safety ratings went down and the Front Passenger's safety rating is a 3 and the overall rating is a 4 mainly is because:Looking at one some of my old posts small overlap change at 11/2013 but link to info is broken now in post.
2016 CX-5 NHTSA Crash-Test Safety Rating: 3 (out of 5) for Frontal Crash - Passenger
Does anyone know why the 2016 CX-5 crash test safety ratings went down? I couldn't believe the Front Passenger's safety rating is now a 3 and the overall rating is a 4. I wonder if Mazda is going to do further testing or come up with a fix to make it safer for passenger occupants. Safety was one...mazdas247.com

Passenger side airbag reprogramming is a Special Service Program (SSP) A6 which is supposed to prevent fabric tear of the passenger front air bag during deployment. I also suspect this has something to do with 2016 CX-5's 3-star rating on passenger side for NHTSA Frontal Barrier Crash Test dropped from 5 stars of previous MY.
Really love to see this. At 135k miles on my 2014.
Don’t remember if you had changed the coolant with fresh FL-22 yet?Really love to see this. At 135k miles on my 2014.
I did, albeit slightly late per the schedule in terms of mileage. I forget exactly what it was now, but was anywhere between 122-125k, and had hit the 10 years at that point. This would have been a bit over a year ago now.Don’t remember if you had changed the coolant with fresh FL-22 yet?
2013 CX-5 Sport AWD: nearing 214k. Only regular maintenance since the last update.Update: 183k
Aww man, I got ripped off. Don't have one of those spiffy stickers on my oil pan.Just hit 91,000 miles, seems like relatively low miles compared to some others on this post. Just did a trans fluid drain and fill and changed engine oil (5w-30). Was impressed with how dry underneath looked. Looks like I'm going the distance with this one.

It's not residue, dry as a bone there except for the corrosion. Been like that for years.Madar: You have that oil residue on this area that required a rear main seal replacement on mine

It was never enough to cause noticeable oil drop on dipstick though
I’d clean up and see if it comes back. Mine would reappear until RMS was replaced
Looks like I will paying the dealer a visit. I noticed some of this residue when I changed my front diff and cleaned it up as well. I thought somehow it was leftover from oil change. Apparently not. Nothing big enough to accumulate on the floor but you won't see it unless you drop the front under-shield. Not hard but just a lot of screws and fasteners. Sorry for big pics... may not be easy to see on phone.
