What have you done to your Miata today?

Car is looking good Levi! Did you ask them to keep the front emblem off?

Stopped at a local body shop on Friday to get some touch up paint. Apparently Mazda no longer sells 33Y (Icy Blue Metallic)?

Speaking of nice, cheap mods I've got a Mazda6/RX-8 wiper switch on my list. Loved adding intermittent wipers to the P5 and can't wait to have them on the Miata.

yea i requested they just fill the holes and not put the emblem back on. i personally love the "shaved" front end, i think it looks meaner

i agree, loved the p5 wiper mod! do you have a source for the rx8 mod? i see the direct replacement for the 2006 and newer but not...wait a min...you have a newer miata now!! i keep forgetting you "upgraded"!

Nice! Yes, I like it as well....to me mean and aggressive with those painted lights. (two thumbs)

LMAO Aw man, is this what I have to look forward to when I join the AARP club? :p Initially I found the RX-8 as the mod but after more digging found the 6 switch will work as well. The bonus is that they are cheaper than the RX-8 switches. For the 6, I can use 2003 through 2008 model years as long as they don't have the rain sensing feature. Wonder if the earlier years would work on your MSM?

I've been having issues with what I'll call 'lumpy power' and I think I've finally figured it out - two of my COPs didn't have springs in them, and all four coils/plugs were caked in carbon inside the coil boot. A new set of coils is on the way, and I'm going to try some dielectric grease to cut down on the arcing.

I put a Tribute wiper arm in my P5 way back and used the same wiper arm in the Miata. Have a rear wiper switch but no rear wiper. Works fine.

the tires came in the mail yesterday, dropped them off to get mounted and balanced with the jonglongdongs. Ill pick them up after work and get pics tonight, after i get them put on the car

glad you enjoy the new name for the wheels Muff haha

wheels are on! no major clearance issues, some rubbing at full lock but thats not the end of the world and can be fixed down the road pretty easily

Obligatory comparison pic of the wheels that were on and the wheels going on the car.

I've got a Tribute one on the P5 too but since that is still in the stable I don't want to swipe it.

Damn, those look great on the car! And I have to say that I like your name much better, much easier to pronounce. lol I'm not looking to change out wheels at the moment, I kind of like the finish/style of the OEM SE wheels so until they grow old on me or get rashed to s***, they'll remain for Summer use. Might invest in some steelies for Winter unless I can find a nice deal on some alloys.

over the weekend i installed the new rear diff bushings, rear brakes, Tein coilovers and some other little odds and ends

blah, blah, blah... installed Megan Racing EZ Streets with 7/6 springs... blah, blah, blah...

removed the wheel and installed the Short Hub, Quick Release and Steering wheel. Cleared up some much needed legroom and feels a lot better than the stock location and stock wheel
