new MP5 owner

'allo all.
just got a 2k3mp5 a couple weeks ago, but Im no stranger to Mazda's as Ive owned several and own 3 right now (94pro, 93mx6 and the mp5)

Ive been a fan of the p5 since they were introduced, but was never really in a position to own one, until now
got a pretty sweet deal on it (IMO) as I straight traded my 2k1 Xterra for it.
a pic says 1,000 words, so I have a pic of the 'tera and "silver fire"

Im sure I'll have plenty of questions for some of you, and hope to be able to help others at need.

Congrats!

I had a '99 Solar Yellow Xterra for three years. I had to order it and took two months to get since I wanted an SE 4x4 w/MT. Very rare to find that in the SE at that time. Traded that in for a WRX, then an MS3...and now a silver P5

thanks for the warm words, Im not planning a huge amount of modding since I have to use the p5 as my daily, but time will tell.
if I get my mx6 on the road, that will leave me some time to do some minor things to the p5, but Im still not planning on going overboard. mostly little things like some interior mods, and maybe some small ext mods, but I dont think Im going to go too crazy in the engine bay.

definently once you get the time take off the side moldings, these cars look sooooo much better without them

are you talking about the side skirts ?
if so, I disagree, I think the car looks better with them.
