Mazda Roadside Assistance = I need to b**** now

OK, I just had a mostly decent experience using Mazda's Roadside Assistance program, no thanks to my ******* clunking squeeking orange **** on wheels. Towed the b**** away to the closest Mazda junkyard but they leave ME ******* stranded!!!! WTF?! Who are the stupid ***** running this program? What good does roadside assistance do me if I'm stranded and all they can offer is to take care of my CAR but leave my ass still stranded? How ******* hard would it be for them to supply a ******* car or at least a ******* taxi or SOMETHING?

Here's the LONG story for those that care to read it all......
I stopped to get some groceries on the way home from work, get them, get in the car to go home and the b**** won't start. Everything electrical works but she won't even turn over - like the starter is dead. Totally ******* bewildered I decide to call Mazda Roadside Assistance and they get a tow truck out to me in 30 minutes. I ask the lady HTF I'm supposed to get home with no vehicle and she's completely stumped -- basically says my best bet is to work that out with the dealership they're towing it to. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense considering the ******* dealership wasn't open, and no dealership is open on Sundays so I guess none of us are allowed to break down on Sundays.(ghey) I wanted to b**** her out (tried) but it turns out the people that answer when calling Mazda roadside assistance are just people from AAA that Mazda contracted out, so she just kept saying she agreed with me and that I'd have to call MAZDA to complain about that. The easiest part of the entire program should be for them to ensure I get home safely and free of charge - yet that's the 1 part they don't do. Lame as hell.

I've used the roadside assistance for a total of 3 times so far. I've been satified with them so far, but it really depends on the tow operator. If the dealership was open, the tow operator would probably give you a lift to the dealership. However, in situations where the dealership is closed, the tow truck needs to tow your car to their lot and then retow it to the dealership when they open.

I understand how frustrating it is (I was left stranded near the mall @ 10 pm), but that's how it is. They expect us to get a ride with a friend/ family, or public transportation.

The story would have been more interesting if you were ***** in the back alley by the guy who works at the deli.

Oh, well I left that part out. Wanted to keep it SFW(yawn).

s***, just don't break down unless it's M-F, 7:30am-7:00pm. What's so hard to understand about that?

My starter went out on me recently. It turned just fine, but the clutch inside of it was broken, so it spun freely. $85 + Tax later, I installed a new one after getting it rebuild by a REPUTABLE company (READ NOT AUTOZONE!). The rebuilt one I bought from them had the terminals welded on backwards, and they charged MORE!

There are some good roadside assistant programs out there, and some really bad ones. Although breaking down at night makes it really hard for them to ensure you get a car so you can get home....cause where they gonna get it?

Sorry about your bad night Girth, hope things get better and not worse for ya.

^Thanks man. Things are better - it's nothing major. I just figured if they spend the coin to tow my car and then pay a tech to look at it, why not do the easiest part and call me a taxi or rental company or something. Most cities at least have a 24-hour taxi cab service available. Oh well. I was pissed last night over it but things are fine now.

Oh, yea...the cheap ****** could have gotten a taxi...never thought of that if you were in town.

Please tell me this is a joke. You can not possibly be that stupid!

What the hell would you have done if your car was out of wty? Are you not capable of independent thought? <O:p

Call a friend (if you have any) or a taxi. You are old enough to drive so I hope you are a big enough boy to take care of yourself. THEN on Monday you call the dealer and in a nice tone of voice and in a polite manor request a rental. Hell if you are nice about it Mazda C/R might even cover you taxi ride home from the store. <O:p

<O:p

GOD I hate people that can't think for themselves!!!

Dear fuckface, this wonderful "Mazda Roadside Assistance" program came standard with the car when I bought it and it was surely reflected in the price of the vehicle. Since they forced me to pay for such a program, bet your ass that I'm going to use it. My complaint is that not only did I pay for the program but it's a stupid program since they cover everything but the EASIEST and CHEAPEST part for them.

If I was out of warranty then I'd have nothing to b**** about obviously. But I'm not out of warranty, hence the bitching.

GOD I hate people that fail to see an obvious point.

WOW..Just the response I expected. You really are that stupid.
<O:p

So in your opinion all car manufactures that offer roadside programs should have a 24hr a day car rental waiting for special people just like you. When are people going to take just a little bit of responsibility for themselves and not feel that the whole ******* world owes them something!

<O:p

I'll tell you what next time your car breaks I send the little bus just for you. Hell I'll even give you a new helmet with flames on it. <O:p

Dumb ass. <O:p

Uhh most that offer do. When my Lexus stopped running they sent a tow truck, plus another rental Lexus. They even asked if I needed a hotel room in the area. Then after that they sent me a $20 dollar gift card for my troubles. That is what seperates a company that cares, and one that doesn't. Mazda has been known to do the absolute bare minimum, yet claims to do the most.

Aaaaaaaanyway........did you find out what was wrong with your car? I had fuse issues for a couple months, which left me stranded once...but then the problem mysteriously went away. A few times I blew the fuse that handles the alarm and you can't start the car again without power to the module...it sucked. Other times it blew, I had to make it home hoping I didn't accidently stall!!

I used the Roadside Assistance one time.. they had me on hold for at least 45 min.. I hung up and called AAA.. they answered in 5 min.. had a truck there in 30 min on a sunday.

Why start s***? What's the point? He's just stating that he paid for a service and it wasn't provided.

I agree.. my mama always said, "if you dont have anything nice to say, then don't say anything."
:D

O.K. Here is my beef. Not with girth but with the public in general.

You will never make everyone happy and Mazda is a very small car compony compaired to most and they do the best thay can with the very limited money they have. They are not Lexus or Honda(witch does not offer any type of assistance unless you but the package) But peaple feel that when they buy a Mazda they should recieve the same treatment as if they bought a 50k car. Sorry it's not going to happen. If you want that kind of service you have to pay for it. I mean if the car is that bad sell it and try another manufacuter. You have a 50/50 chance it could be better. But it might also be the same or worst.

People expect way to much now a days. Heck I remember the day when you got a 12/12 wty and at 12001 you were on your own and nobody b**** and complained about it.
