Which one do u ppl perfer????
Anyone has pic and sound clips with those exhausts???
WetsuitxNinja said:The HKS alone sounded pretty good, wasnt that loud though. When I added the OBX header it was a huge difference. Still got quiet after 70mph. Didnt really drone. HKS is pretty expensive, you can find or make a full cat back for that price... oh and the HKS fit REAL nice
Never heard the mazdaspeed.
Mike R said:HKS is way better sounding and looking. Mazdaspeed drones alot. There are TONS of pics of the exhausts. Just search around this site. I keep saying I'm going to make a sound clip, but I don't care enough...
I've got 1, and I've found a solution. There's a fairly good sized knob on the left hand side of the radio...turn it clockwise until the drone goes awayvicham said:i heard many ppl say that mazdaspeed drones a lot too.....but then it is way cheaper than the HKS....do u think there is some way to avoid the droning....cos i might consider one if i can avoid it

around 78-ish and up. And yes, that's exactly what it means.vicham said:lol.....great method^^
so this means droning is not a problem for city driving......wut speed does the droning sound usually come anyway????
RaiderMP5 said:get a racing beat. no droning, looks great, and sounds awesome!
wow....nice sound^^ exactly wut i m looking for....RB really sounds greatRaiderMP5 said:Click here for a sound clip of the Racing Beat with a Ractive Header. That is on my car, and yes, I know I need to replace the gaskets. It is by far the quietest, expecially with the stock header. The HKS is louder, and from what I have been told, it does tend to drone.
the Racing Beat is a cat-back header, not just an axleback.
