buddyclub2 problems

i was not expecting it to be perfect i do body work and custom painting there was not one part that wont need some serious prep work. when somone says oem fitment i expect better fitment then what i got. just letting people know what they will be getting when they get this kit . i would expect quality like this if i bought it of ebay not from a shop. definintely not worth the price

my erebuni kit took a month and 1/2 to get it in, then my painter had to basically rebuild the entire rear bumper cause it was a big air bubble in one spot.... front bumper had stress cracks, the side skirts were good , had to shave them down so they would fit right though, after the month wait, and fixin the cracks and other stuff.. id say dont get a erebuni kit if you dont want a expensive install bill, i didnt know other companies were devoloping 99-00 kits so i got the erebuni kit

Took myself 4 hours to get the kit ready for paint.

damn lucky, the front bumper when on easy besides the cracks and the rear bumper looked fine, painter was sanding it and he found a big bubble in it.

I am not saying I didn't have about a million stress fractures though. I am lucky I have an excellent painter to take care of my car.

yeah same here , he could have charged me extra for the problems he ran into but he didnt 250 labor and it costed me 180 for paint, my dad and i put the bumpers on ourselves

wow i didnt think that it was going to be so bad for the buddy club kit they told me that if it doesnt fit like oem money back but i am an autobody tech and i can handle it but i didnt feel like spending all the time of molding it to fit, primer, spray poly ,block ,primer block etc just a heads up for you guys taking your kits to a body shop if the bumpers gel coat is ruff or cracked or the glass is wavy or irratic spray poly is the shizzzle if they dont use it check out other shops deff shaves time off and you get a better result . I might do a how to on fitting a buddy club 2 kit and post it for everyone if i have time. i should also be setting up an accnt with buddy club i might start a group buy so we can get them cheeper.

i just got off the phone with the body shop and they told me that the side skirts dont fit right at all when you open the door in the front they hit the body kit and the only way to mount them is with two screws at the ends in the fenderwells ,that and there is no lip to attach the sideskirts along the bottem of the door. it does not fit flush. and they have not even tried to fit the bumper's. i should have canceld the order when i had problems with them shipping it. im temped to drive down to the buddyclub shop and shove that pice of s*** kit up there ass im going to try to get some pics

well let us know if you can get a group buy on the BC2 kit. i plan on getting one for my p5. they gave a price of $950 shipped to Hawaii. $700 for the kit and $250shipping. i plan on doing the body work myself to save me money.

I recommend finding a Customs Broker, before you place your order. Otherwise it'll spend more time in customs than in travel.

Buddy Club2 uses Old Dominion Freight, to Ontario anyway(not sure about rest of Canada), they'll need the broker info to release it, or you can release it your self depending on location(still need to clear customs).
Not the greatest company but Onderground in Montreal sells BC2. I believe they are one of very few Canadian distributors. Its on their site

I ordered the freakin sides for the p5, they said that they had them in stock and that the part would be at my door step in about a week (lie#1). Three weeks later I call them being where are my ****** sides. The guy then said ok we have a set here and will ship out right now (lie#2) and it should be at your door step by friday (lie#3). By the following wedenesday still no part. I call again and they said it ship out the following friday (the day i should have recieve them). Anyways now they say it should be here Friday the 4th. I dont know WTF to think any more. Getting parts and waiting a month take a lot of fun out of buying parts. If you got this far in my post all I have to say is congrats.
