buddyclub2 problems

I'm thinking of getting the bc2 kit as well for my ES. I've heard the bumper doesn't fit properly on the sedan though, anyone know?

I wouldnt go wit buddyclub 2 unless you wanna wait (no joke at all) 2 months for the kit. I ordered just the side 1 1/2 months and still nothing, they just give me and everyone else bulls*** everytime you call.

Since this thread only works one way, I figured I'd sign up to inform everyone that we are not as bad as some make us out to be. Also, I'm not going to check this thread again, because I do not want to get into any arguments. In fact, I will not be on these boards anymore. If you have any questions, you can call me up at BuddyClub2.
First off, if you go thru another company, you will pay more and also it will take the same amount of time to receive it if you ordered it thru us, if not longer. Seeing that orders take about 10 BUSINESS days, that does not include Saturdays or Sundays. An order through us has NEVER taken 3 months for someone to receive it. As far as the fitments go, I'm sorry but you must not be installing them wrong. If you think there is a problem, bring the kit and the car up here and we will show you it fits like oem. It will fit as long as your car hasn't been in an accident, obviously. Like I said, bring it here and we will put it on. As far as the "cracks" and what not. If it is only in the gel coat, it does not matter. The gel coat is supposed to be sanding prior to paint. So, any imperfections in that do not affect the kit. No kits are shipped out with cracks or anything of that nature. If any cracks in the kit do arise, it is because of shipping and the shipping company will cover that. The shipping is insured. Sometimes when there is a delay with shipping, it is because of the shipping company. They only pick up bodykits Mondays and Fridays so if they do not come, it doesn't get shipped out till the end of the week, if not the next Monday. Also, since each kit is hand-made, and we just lost a worker, we can get behind. This is the same reason other companies' products go on back order. Ours technically do not go on back order because they are either in stock or produced after the order is placed. As for lying, we have no intention of telling lies to anyone. We relay the information told to us. If it's scheduled to go out a certain day, we tell you. If the shipping company does not come or if they cannot make the kit in time, then it is not a lie that we told you. If it's behind in being produced, we will tell you. All you have to do is ask. For the 99-00 Protege, we are very busy developing other kits also, we are not just focused on coming out with this one kit. We have a bunch of sponsored cars on hold, it takes time. We tell the sponsored people that it won't happen until at least 2 months later, so I do not know why you're complaining after 1 month. I hope this clears up some information. If you have any problems or do not want to wait on shipping, how about you come pick it up from us, or you can even schedule your own shipping company to pick it up from us. Oh yea-- standard shipping time in this industry is usually about 2-4 weeks, so 2 weeks to get your order when you were told 10 business days, isn't all that much.

Any questions, call me.

PS - I'll check on your names to see when the order was placed and how long it has REALLY been.

My friend just ordered the BC2 for his eclipse well see how long it takes to get here

hey i live in jacksonville and i was told i was the only one who asked about the sponsorship for the 99-00 protege, and that they were gonna use me but right now they are doing the widebody kits. They said theyd get me in during April that they had alot going on....so finally after waiting and waiting i went to there shop about a month ago and they had a 350z and a supra there which they hadnt even started on and there was only one guy in the garage working and then mark (the manager) chillin at the desk. i called them 2 weeks ago and they said they should be done with those cars in 3 more weeks and then im going....so basically another 3 months.....

Cool we have the other side of the story. He took his time to add his thoughts in, and people should at least give it some thought. I'm pretty much convince that the average wait on a made to order kit takes 1-2 months long from payment to actual dilevery. I personally order stuff on Monday's because I know if you try to do it on Thursday or Fridays, companies tend to not ship it till the following Monday, and forget about trying to order it on the weekend cause they won't process till everyone gets back to work on Monday or Tuesday.

Remember don't ever count Weekends as part of the time waiting because I don't think anyone ever delivers on the weekend if its standard shipping. Also humans are naturally lazy and we try to wait till the end to actually do anything. But that doesn't excuse a company not to double check on their orders making sure everything is being made and they are getting paid. I think better book keeping and communication would be a good idea.

I work for an insurance company, and book keeping and follow ups are necessary.

Anyways my 2 cents.

But do you know if that supra and 350z were waiting long for work to be done on them? Who knows they'd probably had waited 2-3 months also. Its not uncommon for employees to be sitting around doing nothing, I know I do that all day while at work, and other people are helping customers. Sure I can help too, but hey I'm busy playing pin ball on the computer too even notice :-D. And my coworkers are lazy too, we give and take and we know we got each others back when one decides to be lazy.

Still waiting is a b****, and I'm sure when the time comes I'll be waiting months to get the kit also. But I'll be calling and calling till I'm happy. To bad they want the money up front, how about a deposit or something so that not all my money goes through the hole in my pocket. They have all our information its not like we can hide for long when we do get our kits.

Lie My A@@

well i dont care what sean says, he is full of s*** and so is mark i ordered a front bumper 3 weeks ago on monday, he(mark) told me he was shipping it that day(LIE #1) i would get it on friday(LIE#2) at the latest so i didnt get it friday i call back he so oh no it shipped today(LIE#3) you will have it in three days(LIE#4) ok so 3 days pass no bumper , so i call back this makes my third call now i tell them if i dont have it by monday to cancel my order so i call today to find out where my bumper is ,they give me this lame ass excuse about how the shipping company picked it up friday(LIE#5) and the tracking number sometimes is not in the system at first it takes a while(LIE#6) ,so finally i get a tracking number and it says the departure date or pickup date was 6/21/04 oh yeah thats today the day i said i needed it by so they are busted for there not telling lies

Free is always good, to bad for people who have paid and still waiting waiting waiting.

SPOOND - I told you the kit was scheduled to be picked up by Overnite (the shipping company) last Friday. They were a no-show, you are not the only one with a kit that was supposed to be picked up. However, you are the only one that cannot seem to interpret that. Sorry, but you can hold a grudge. If you worked for a busy business in this industry, you would understand how it works.
As for the guy with the 99-00, the widebodies are done and yes they took a while too. You should be getting a call soon as long as you did not cancel it. The owner handles that and there is nothing I can do for ya, sorry.
No one at BC2 is lazy. We all do our job. Mark and I sit around in the office because that's our job. We do not fiberglass, so we cannot control how fast they are made. We lost an employee that works in the back, so the past couple weeks have been hectic for them. When kits are hand-made, and a lot of orders are placed, nothing ever goes as planned. Thanks for those who understand and have patience. Good things come to those who wait. We gladly would give you free shirts or whatever we can to try and get you to not be so uptight, however, it's easier to be more kind to those who have more respect for someone just trying to do their job and move products as fast as possible. So whoever feels the urge to flick me off with some smiley (spoond), even tho I never dealt with your order or lied to you once, think about the way you're presenting yourself, not your feelings for a company who made you wait 3 days longer for your product.

I'm sure you guys are hella busy with all the orders that come in. BC2 kit is vary popular because it looks great, this could be where supply can't keep up with demand.

I can understand that you guys are busy but don't tell people they will be there at a certain time and not deliver. Thats why(from what I am gathering) people are pissed. Whoever my friend ordered the front from said it would be here in two weeks it has not arrived yet but its only been like one day passed so not that big of a deal.

I have worked in a internet business for almost 3 years now and what you are telling everyone is bulls***. IT DOES NOT TAKE 3-4 WEEKS TO GET STUFF SHIPPED. PERIOD. Your shipping SUCKS. You told me and a bunch of other people o it will be there on friday and s*** like that. You told me you had the sides right in frount and that they will go out today but that never happend. I waited nearly 2 months for your god damn sides. I even asked if i can make my appointment with my body shop for that monday becasue you guys promised that they would come on FRIDAY BUT NO. The sides didnt come for another 3 weeks. So i suggest you get your shipping s*** together.

Ok, mine only took 7 weeks. I think that's longer than 10 business days, unless you guys only work 1 day a week, then I'm wrong.

As far as the fitments go, I'm sorry but you must not be installing them wrong.
So you're saying that if we install them wrong... then it will fit better? My kit fits like garbage. The rear bumper and side skirts fit pretty good, but the front bumper is a compromise. No matter what you do there's either a gap under the headlights, or by the fender.

If you think there is a problem, bring the kit and the car up here and we will show you it fits like oem. It will fit as long as your car hasn't been in an accident, obviously. Like I said, bring it here and we will put it on.
So you think I'm gonna drive all the way down there just to have you prove yourself wrong? Then what's gonna happen? Are you going to make me a front bumper that fits better and pay to get it resprayed? Are you going to pay for my gas/mileage for the commute to FL and back to NJ? I highly doubt that.

As for lying, we have no intention of telling lies to anyone. We relay the information told to us. If it's scheduled to go out a certain day, we tell you.
Maybe the rest of the employees should stop telling you that every kit will be done 'friday', because when a customer calls (like myself) and is told for 4 weeks straight that the kit is going to be shipped out 'friday' it starts to get frustrating.

Good things come to those who wait. We gladly would give you free shirts or whatever we can to try and get you to not be so uptight, however, it's easier to be more kind to those who have more respect for someone just trying to do their job and move products as fast as possible.
Can I get a free shirt since I spent like $1100 on your products.. and a hell of a lot more at the body shop because the front bumper fit like crap?

So His bumper came in finally. It fits pretty good it took longer than they said about two weeks longer. I will not be purchasing this kit for my msp besides it looks cleaner just lowered with the lipskirts that already come on it.
Bodykits- (yupnope)

they just dont care because allot of you guys will b**** and moan, but you still give them the money. if people are giving them money even with poor service, theres no desire on their part to change. i mean look at this very post. one guy complaning over and over about how they are lying to them about when an item was shipped or will be shipped. and theres more guys posting after him saying they need to order theirs now if it's going to be a while before the company ships it out. people are still buying their kits so they don't care. only way to fix it is to start finding reputable shops who care about their customers.
