Oh yeah, passed a yellow P5 as it was merging on the highway this morning, stock and obviously a grocery getter. Last week I passed another yellow P5 that was lowered with aftermarket wheels and a rack and he then caught up to me (thanks to a left lane dick) and looked at the car and nodded....don't think he's a member on here though.

Thank you for posting that. If I had a nickle for everytime Phen said "Protege's are slow and always will be." I would buy 5 more Proteges. Because I love mine.

I had a classic red one now midnite blue. I much rather the classic red but meh not gonna dump 2k+ on a car I paid 1000 for

fast is really a subjective term, to people who build 1000whp supras and evos, hell no a 300whp protege isnt fast. But to me, its as fast as I will ever need it to be.
Plus..whenever mine is running, its faster then pretty much 70% of the modded cars around my area, which is nice lol

I would still love my p5 even with half the power it has but it would be a little less fun.
Another note my car has been having hell with the Texas heat lately and it's latest victim was my upper samco hose which was bulging to 2x the diameter before i wrapped the heck out of it with duct tape
I've had a new replacement oem hose waiting as back-up but I figured it wouldn't even be as strong.
Anyway 4year old Samco hose is being replaced for free after I sent samcosport an email and pic! YAY
