What have you done to your MSP today?

Here's 20mm spacers, in my opinion look the best:

5mm barely shows a difference so I can't imagine another 4mm being much better

And that's my thought on it. I mean, it's only $60, but that's $60 that could go to something useful I suppose. It's only 9mm, so an additional 18mm to my track width... Is it even noticeable? That's why I was wanting pics. Haha.

I would show you pics of my 5mm spacers, but it won't do much good being that they are being used with 17x7.5 +48 wheels. Makes it just a little past flush with the quarter panel. You'll want to get close to 20mm, but will need either adapters or super long studs.

i ran 5mm on my mx5 wheels. they're the same specs as the racing harts and i agree, they're still super sunk.

What we need Are adjustable lower arms to go with adjustable camber plates...

Cause with adjustable arms you can adjust track width and not have to use spacers, where adjustable camber blocks allow you to correct the camber after doing so.

Well, now we're splitting hairs because what is actually considered "correct" and by whom? We're deviating from the original design, so Mazda would say that they are "incorrect" anyway..

I didn't mean it like that. My bad. I guess there isn't much you can do about "correct" sizing if you want the stock wheels.

I'm bored. In a class for the shop. Two hours!

Those pics of the black car appear more flush because he aligned the suspension and zero'd out the camber (along with the massive spacers). The factory MSP suspension settings have negative camber and make the wheels look more 'sunk'.

Had a crazy past few weeks with sxsw and a bunch of other s*** but I picked up my repaired turbo mani and muffler for MSP #2 and it should hopefully be running very soon. Going to college station for a track event this friday, it is supposed to be a huge event with velocity tv and Ford Performance there and it's the last event at TWS since they are closing the track this year. Maybe the MSP will make it on tv

Going to put the car back into the air tonight before I leave the shop and get this oil leak identified so I can get it fixed this weekend.

Was going to put sealer in my doors today but will have to change wifes front brakes instead. I had it up on stands and let it drive. You can see the caliper moving as the rotor turns on one side. Hope it hasn't carried to the axle but I suppose axles are cheap.
This weekend I shouod have all my 22v parts painted. Quite a lotof work taking it all apart and cleaning without getting water inside heh.
Some of the upper black trim will need touchup... plastidip?

Say no to plastidip! Get some good black trim paint and prep it. It will look a lot better and last longer.

Problem is all the rubber weatherstripping is too hard to peel up and get paint under. If I use proper enamel, ill have to have. Hard cutline at the rubber bits.
Plastidip however is a low commitment intermediary option.

Of course. The bodyshop prob would just cut around everything. I guess it could look good. Just thinking back to the windshield moulding cut lines I found on my mx3... not nice.
