What have you done to your CX-5 today?

I have started working on the lateral link.
I have got one for testing.
The outer diameter is 1" and the inner diameter is .797-.800.
Looking up some weld in bungs and some double adjusters.

looked up the part, but not sure what you intended to make out of it. I won't be having my camber arm modified until after I get the jbr mount and then an alignment

I have cut in half the arm, to be able to measure the inner diameter.
Now I know the size, so I have ordered some weld in bungs(2 x left threaded and 2 x right threaded ones) from Ebay:

Then, those two adjusters, that I have mentioned above:

I have to figure out how much I have to cut out from the arm, to fit all these in there and to be the right length at the end.
I have talked to a welder, and he would weld all this for me, for $20.
With this arm and the rear toe adjustment, can be adjusted the camber angle.
I went with, the Australian company's idea.

Assuming that's a direct replacement for the lateral link or "rear upper arm" as it's called on the diagram; are you converting the single arm something like this?

A picture helps much more then words.
By shortening this arm and adjusting the rear toe cam bolt, the bottom of the wheel, will go inward.

Here is another picture, with some explanation.
Basically, the bottom of the wheels, has to be pulled in.
With the camber arm, the wheel has to be pushed out.

This was the exact same style arm I referred Mazstyle to when he displayed his custom arm. I commend you for trying this out. If you suceed I would like some details [emoji106]

I'm waiting for the parts to arrive.
I would have made myself these parts, but the taps and dies would have been more expensive, than just buying these parts.
I have ordered the second arm as well.
In my opinion, next week should be done.
I just need some time, to lower my car.

New tires on Saturday... went with 235/55/19 Yokohama YK580. I was trying to hold out as long as possible so I could swing wheels and tires, but that didn't happen. I'm happy with them so far, and they're definitely a little meatier than the stock 225s.

mat @ ovtune. mazdaedit and a taxtrix cable. So far I have seen up to 1 sec increase in 0-60 (my phone gps, the times are consistent) and improved power delivery at mid rpms/highway speeds. Once the new Miata comes out we should see an increase in aftermarket sky support, hopefully trickling into the 2.5. The 2.5 is way more tunable than the 2.0 it seems. All I can say is this 100%, do not buy from dynotronics. He has no integrity, is a thief and a liar (personal experience and a recent incident).

I'm wondering, how much space should I leave, for adjustment for these lateral arms? The adjusting "bolt" is only 4" long and the hex and two nuts should take up 1.5", per the manufacturer specs(I have not received them yet). 3/8", should be enough at each end(right thread and left thread), or should I leave 1/2"? I will have to shorten these arms, not extend, since these are at the bottom.
