C'mon Chris, just add the $140 to your retirement account. You're young so it'll probably be worth $10K by the time you're tired of going to the office every day and I guarantee you'll never miss all that "lost torque" the OEM engine mount is absorbing.

less worried about the tq (not talking diesel power here lol (I wish)), but more about the stiffness (70 for me, 80 is too much). But I probably should start one..

I ordered my mount on Saturday. I got the 70 because the vibes from the 80 would be too much for the wife when she drives the car.

Please let us know what she thinks about it. I would like to get one to help control things (based on experience with Mazda engine mounts, if I have at least one stiffer the others should last longer) but not if it will increase NVH to an objectionable level.

Will do. I'm sure I'll hear about it if she doesn't like it. :)

Cool. I want to reduce bucking movements as much as possible in the rear because I often ride into high rpm and shift out the apex of sharp turns.

Just got my oem rims painted dark silver gray matte finish

Carbon sticker on the brake light protection as well since this is more susceptible to scratches

AT cover chrome matte finish, front AC vent and replace AT knob just to accentuate the all black interior

Welcome I like the painted wheel. I bought those light trims but I didn't like the fit on the front so I tossed them both.

Installed the 70 durometer JBR rear motor mount today. It definitely increased NVH, but I think it's going to be manageable. I definitely notice less bucking in the engine, even when just pulling off of a curb. I'll update again after having it in for a few days. Next I have to install my springs that are sitting at home. :)

Gee, I never noticed this trait in my 2013...

NVH = noise, vibration and harshness? When you say you think it's going to be "manageable" do you mean just getting accustomed to it or is there some way to reduce the noise and harshness?

Where did you get the chrome AC vent trims? I'd also like the infotainment center trim but you don't have that (shady)

I just brought her home today! 2015 CX-5 FWD Touring. Ordered a Corksport intake and WeatherTech In Channel Window Visors. Going to get some good floor mats. I like the WeatherTech ones but they are $315 bones... Might go cheaper. What do you folks prefer? This is my wife's daily driver and my weekend corner carver =). Also thinking about exhaust but I own sport bikes and might haul a small trailer here and there. I don't want to lose low end torque. Should I worry or no?

Here is my super proud wife with the new ride.

It's mainly low RPM vibration which is expected out of a stiffer motor mount. I've talked to a bunch of the MS3 guys here locally and most say the vibrations soften up after a few thousand miles. I put about 3000 miles a month on my car so it won't take me long to get a better feel for it. Though as of right now, my wife hates it. :)

I got flat tire on the way back from Vegas in the CX5. We did a little off roading between Jean and Primm, NV. If all you Californians are looking to avoid that miserable traffic out of Vegas right before the state line, you can't. This road is for off road cars with off road tires. It's fun to drive, but there's that risk of a flat. All the time I saved was burnt up and more changing the tire and plugging the hole.
