Disclaimer: This is MY OWN OPINION and as such is fallable and subject to complete and utter failure. Get the gauges you think will look kick ass in your car with your setup.

To geo212- an air intake temp. guage would be nice but the air coming into the turbo is heated at different rates depending on how hot the turbo is. that is why an egt guage is used because it is a more accurate reading of how hot the air is that is going into the combustion chamber. The more heat there, the more chance of detonation.
To ND4MSP- i agree with you- if you're not getting deep into tuning, only a boost guage is necessary.
eeterp said:everyone agrees: #1 boost gauge (I like greddy's mechanical; cheap and easy)
the other guage I have is oil pressure. think about it; if you lose oil pressure and you don't shut down, something WILL break. Go electric gauge here, you don't want oil inside the car.
I don't know about Defi's a/f gauge but, greddy's is a 4 wire unit and is not true wide band, but it is much better than an autometer.
water temp is ok but, you do have the temp gauge on your dash. that's good enough to tell if you're approaching dangerously hot levels.
EGT is useful for tunning but, not a necessity in my opinion. IIRC, if you run way lean or way rich you will have low EGT's. I think high egt's come at torque peak. A wide band is useful here because you can find out if your egt's are on the rich or lean side of the torque peak. or something like that![]()

That would be awsome!!!I wouldn't have to use the wds to see how the changes to my Co2 sprayer worked..
Who makes them???????
