Thinking of getting a CX-5 Turbo, things to look out for?

In earlier days people were having this problem and been told by MNAO this expensive coolant control valve is NOT a normal mechanical thermostat hence it isn’t covered under powertrain warranty. See the thread posted above.
What a ridiculous position to take. The cooling system isn't part of the drivetrain?

Well at the time the “thermostat” is on the list covered by powertrain warranty, but the Mazda dealer and MNAO claimed the “coolant control valve” (with an integrated thermostat inside) isn’t the “thermostat”, hence isn’t covered under powertrain warranty.

UPDATE

So I found a three CX-5s that meet my criteria, all are CPO without any accidents:
  1. 2021 Signature edition with 69k miles, asking $20,542.
  2. 2021 Signature edition with 27k miles, asking $23,406.
  3. 2021 GT Turbo with 50k miles, asking $23,556.
  4. 2022 GT Turbo with 7k miles, asking $27,702.
Service records look consistent for all three. I'm leaning towards #1 given it's CPO and lowest price, but am not sure about what maintenance items would be due soon given the high mileage.

Which of these would you guys pick if you are in my shoes?

I’d alway go for the lower mileage one, unless the color is the one I really hate. So #4 for me.

All 3 have CPO warranty, and #4 doesn’t? CPO is nice, and you could pay a little more to get a CPO warranty if the seller is a Mazda dealer.

Also #4 is the only one with good exhaust valve stem seals from factory. Even though 2021’s seals covered under warranty, but I hate to have dealers doing this kind of major work.

I would go for #4 as well as you have less chance of the issue with the valve seals on a 22 and you have the tweaked engine, seats and most current exterior design. I am really surprised at the price of #2 as my 21 GT Reserve with 30k is supposedly worth 22,500 per Carvana.(trade-in value) I would think that would put a selling price for a CPO Signature much higher than 23,400.
