Watchmen in IMAX

There was some discussion about this in another thread, but when is a good date to see it in IMAX? I'm down for any friday or saturday evening. Looks like they have showings at 7 and 10:30-ish pretty much every day.

It is awesome on IMAX. Saw it on Saturday at MoGA.

Just be advised, this is not an "action movie" like Xmen or other "superhero" movies.

I had heard they left out a lot of the back story from the book and changed the ending a bit

I had heard they left out a lot of the back story from the book and changed the ending a bit

They got most of the backstory in via a really good opening credits sequence.

The ending is slightly different but it needed to be (unfortunately).

Indeed. There is a fairly graphic sex scene in the movie that was not nearly as graphic in the book. This movie is a HARD "R" (no pun intended).

Wow... this movie sounds... awe-some. You get to see a man's junk? Really? You mean it? Where do I sign up. I might go see this (or I might Netflix it when it eventually comes out). I honestly had no clue this movie even existed until someone mentioned it in my NE GA thread. Shows what living in the boonies will do to you (that and being sans cable tv).
