Rims

When are you guys putting on your rims again??(not you Herbie, I know you already put them on too early) Im hoping to put them on in about a week.
Also
Does anyone know of a good powdercoating shop that does wheels in the HFX area??

I think I waited until late april last year but last year was the winter that wouldnt end. I am hoping to put em on by mid April at the latest. Depends on when the freezing at night stops. I dont take chances! The summer wheels are useless in the snow/ice. I scared the crap outta myself last winter when I first got the car in late Feb before I got the winter wheels on.

BTW - CanMP3, I think I saw you again this morning on the way out of burnside at the end of Akerly. You had that crazy cell phone going again didnt you?

Yep that was me, im workin in burnside today, and next wednesday as well. Im always on my cell phone, thats just what I do.

well at least you use a head set, i hate it when someone is all over the road and you pass them and the have a cell to their ear. They did a study on rats and it gave them tumors, i guess rats shouldnt use cell phones.

When the weather smartens up and we get our wheels on, we should do a cruise. I saw a titanium MSP the other day. He probably wondered who the idiot in the orange car was waving at him.

I'm putting my stock rims on in mid april, cos' for the moment i'm in Nfld, and my rims are in Halifax. mind you St. john's has gotten s*** for snow this year, not even 1 single snow day. last year we had a week with 4 of them.

well anyway thats' just my 2 cents worth. when i get into to town you'll see me. I got the silver MP5 with the Decepticon Logo on the rear side windows, and the black tint on the back windows aswell. I was in Halifax from August till January.

I gave up, the weather is too nice for the next week, wheels are on. Also I put my header on, and I can actually tell a difference.

well, my summer tires are half done so I'm not taking any chances. They would be death in any amount of snow or ice. Looking at the weather forecast makes it hard to restrain myself tho.

That's cool that you can notice a diff from your upgrade! Makes the money and effort worth while eh?
