Hey guys, spring is on its way and my spring break is coming up this next week from school. The roads are pretty clear around here and i'm going to be taking the msp out of storage while i'm home. Over the winter months I bought a couple parts to put on the car when I take it out. One of them being a vibrant vacuum block. I don't really know what all to connect to it and what the main vac line should be so I was wondering if someone could show me a small how-to so I can get under the hood and get this done without too many problems. Pictures would be great! Thanks a lot guys.

You sound like me ha. Spring break coming up and I'm going to partially install most of my turbo kit, gauges, vac block as well, new tires and some other stuff. Here's a pic I have where you can kinda see what line this guy used.

Here is a pic of mine (not a Vibrant though). You cut your brake booster line to the left of the check valve which is a hard piece inside of the booster line. Feel the brake booster line till you find the valve and then give yourself enough room so the port of the vacuum block will fit inside the line without hitting the valve. As far as which vacuum lines that is up to you but I had my BOV, BPV and boost gauge on there. Here is a pic and if you have any more questions just ask.

when looking for the check valve are you able to just feel around for it in the brake line? I'm assuming since i'm non turbo, and it is recommended for those going turbo to get the check valve (which I just got) i would not have to worry about looking for the check valve?

Here is the Vibrant, they also have it in black.

And yes you can feel the check valve in the brake booster line. The line is pretty hard itself but you can feel a little give in it except for where the valve is. If the valve is not already in the line then you don't need to worry about that part but I can't imagine it will be easy to get that thing in there. I know Mazda sells the brake booster line with the valve already in it.

You will need to find fittings for the vibrant block if you don't use theirs. Iirc they are 1/4" npt barbs.

That is true, mine (MAM) didn't come with fitting so I had to go get some at the hardware store and then ordered some nice chrome ones from Summit if I remember correctly.
