ok so my car has been sputtering for awhile and i ran the cel codes they were bad o2 sensor in front, maf no getting connection and clinder 1 misfire.
well my coilpacks spark plugs and spark plug wires are new. i got a new o2 and i got a new maf and the car still sputters once i hit like 5 psi. now the only codes that came up now was maf low imput which i dont get why .
i have an aftermarket fuel pump in so i thought maybe that was bad so i put back in the stock one and it ran even worse. so i put back in the aftermarket one and then i took off my fuel rail to look at the injectors. i only took 2 out then put them back in and now the car idles at 2500 rpm at 17.2 afr then once it drops to about 1000 rpm it goes to 20 afr and the car is still sputtering once i hit open throttle.

idk why this car is running like this maybe its because the tune is messed up but i dont know why its sputtering.

any help would be great thanks..

short ram intake, walbro fuel pump, mbc at 9psi, afc controller, custom front mount, 3 inch catback but with a straight pipe, steedspeed turbo mani, bov, relocated maf

well when im in boost it will hold a 10.9 afr but once it hits 5 psi it leans out and sputters but it still it 10 psi but with no power. basically it sounds like a back fire but repeatdly

when i ran the codes before i had a clinder 1 misfire but now that codes hasnt came back up but its doing the same thing. the only code that came up now is maf low imput even tho the maf is brand new

What brand afc controller do you have? How does the car run if you disconnect the afc controller?

Sounds to me like an electrical wiring problem. Look over your AFC wiring to make sure nothing has come loose and is shorting out. Check all your grounds as well. Something appears to be drawing voltage...
If you find nothing wrong with the wiring, disconnect the AFC and properly wire up the car. See how the car runs then.

everything is hooked up fine.. i also thought maybe the injecters are clogged cause like i said its only once i pass 5 psi so maybe to much air and the injectors aren't pushing enough fuel

id say check wiring for MAF, and try another one, see if someone has one locally that you can borrow just to test

well i bought a new maf 3 months ago and when i read the codes when i had the misfire, one codes was maf not getting connection so i got a new one like a week ago

i doubt it would do anything, again check wiring for the MAF, its deff MAF related, try cleaning it, and check the wires, clean the connector for the MAF nd the wire that connects it.

115[1].webp114[1].webpso i decied to look at my turbo and discovered this. but could that be whats causing my car to sputter even tho the boost gauge is saying im still getting all my boost????
sorry idk how to make the picture show without making you click on it but any help would be good thanks

first does the car get worse as you go faster if it does try checking for air restritions. Also like everyone else said check the maf wiring get a volt meter and check the voltage going in and it should be 5 volts i believe and check your signal wire for spec voltage, you will have to look the spec up. If that is correct well chase it back to ur ecu ( good luck ) and see if you still have singal voltage if not you just found an open wire you need to repair
