it's not very hard. i have this exact same one. except you need to get the piece for a civic. if you want, PM me later, and I'll get you the numbers for the pieces and what not.

its momo, pricey.

i forgot but aren't they like in the $70 range? lol, this isn't that $10 s*** on ebay

corksport has mazdaspeed oens but i don't think tehy'll work on mp5's/proteges

Install is very easy hardest part would be cutting off stock handle(not a problem with a razor) You also need the adaptor And i would recommend the e-brake boot to go with it( Without it you can see part of the e-brake shaft.)Here are some pics of the same one you want but in yellow:

when i get a digi camera, ill show you ALMOST the same setup, minus the paint...i have blue and cf pedals and blue shift knob.hehe

you have to cut the old handle off??? so is this process irreversible without buying anothe oem one??

hmmm, i dont want to hack something up. i want everything to be as clean as stock and no stupid sore tumb looking stuff

I currently purchased the e-brake handle/e-brake boot kit from ractive has anyone install it or have pics of it on their ride? Anyway at first I was going to buy the momo e-brake but it is way too pricey for me. Plus I got the ractive for $35 shipped with everything but the only thing is I want to know how hard is the install going to be.

Hey subghetto,

Here is a pic of my OEM e-brake handle after I got done cutting it to get it off. You can see how far I had to cut it to get it off. I still had to pull like hell, you may want to cut even further. Just be careful and go slow. Just a note I scratched my knob at the end of the handle when cutting the handle you may want to mask it off somehow. Hope this helps. All in all, it should take you about 30 minutes tops. Good luck.

Thanks Dave B any help is greatly appriciated :). I've been thinking of using a dremel with a cutting tool to see if I can make a cleaner cut on the e-breake what do you think? I'am also interested in buying your gauge rings since I soon plan to get the cf bezel and also with time and $$$ purchase the dgmotorsports interior cf kit to really set off my interior. How hard is it to install those rings? well thanks for your time and help

so is this the e-brake adaptor everybody is using.
