Rainman said:The Mazda 3 hatch is the best looking of all the hatches out there right now...hands down. Still, I wouldn't hit it. The sedan is just so much more sexier. Besides, when you consider all performance-oriented cars, there have got to be more sedans and coupes than anything else. Hatches may be more utilitarian, but they are by no means the standard when talking about performance automobiles.
I sell Mazda's and the majority I sell are more equiped. I was also hoppeing for it to be AWD.CHICO2003 said:so the MS3's going to have 230-250hp...in a FWD setup. and we thought the 170hp msp had a lot of torque steer! As far as people spending 22k on an MS3 all day long... not quite sure where you pulled that number from. An MS3 sedan with every conceivable option stickers for a little over 20k. The real world price is more like 18k.

If the MS3 has AWD and 250hp, I think they will pull a LOT of sales away from Subaru. The WRX looks like an oragami mishap compared to the 3. 250hp is really pushing it with torque steer, and a lot of consumers won't like that.
