Knew it wouldnt work

goddamn it i knew i shouldnt have butt connected that mofo yet. alright brb standy by.

still 0v. when i started it up at first it almost died for like 30 sec (over 17AFR) and now it seemed to have figured itself out. still is kinda rough every little while, but idling around 15ish or so AFR.

Hmmmm, I am all out of ideas right now. Gonna look over the schematic of the car and see what's up. I hope it's not the fuse cause then we all look silly.

its not fused anymore though. well, that wire isnt anyhow. should i put the clamp back in the loop and go buy a fuse or what? also the wire the black from the clamp taps into is getting like a .08v reading...the clamp isnt in the loop now but is .08v ok for a ground?

Ok you should have the same readings on these pins 47,60,91, and 94 on the ECU as you have on the 4 wires on the 02. If you can measure those voltages at the ECU and at the 02 we can figure out what wire does what.

I hope it's not too dark to do that.

ok i can do that probably. you know my ECU wiring is starting to look like poop with all these extra wires and butt connectors etc.

i bought a flourescent light last night and ive got an extension cord out to my car from my patio. its just a matter of getting my fat head under the dash far enough to see the pin number. this may take a few minutes.

Results (with car warmed up):

At the o2 sensor:
Blue: 0v (steady)
Blk 1: 6.61v - 10.35v (fluctuate wildly)
Blk 2: 12.79v - 12.90v (fluctuate)
Wht: 0.7v - .08v (pretty steady)

At the harness:
Pin 60 (pink/blue): 0v (steady)
Pin 47 (black/red): 7.73v - 7.83v (pretty steady)
Pin 91 (orange*): 0v - .07v (pretty steady)
Pin 94 (light green/red): 6.35v - 10.17v (fluctuate wildly)

*Orange wire is actually 6 orange wires that come in from the firewall and merge into one, about 4 inches from the ecu. i tapped between the merging point and the ecu to get the voltage of the final wire.

These seem all in check except for the 02 out - Blue wire

Forget what I said the 02 heater voltage should drop below 1V after 15 seconds. Maybe the ECT relay is not clicking.

Hmmm. pin 47 should read below 1V or Battery voltage as well.

I would replace that fuse and see if anything changes.

B+ is battery voltage or 12-14 Volts

Look at the condition and look in the next column to see expected voltages.

what fuse is it? btw that one fuse that is blown is acutally for the radio, which it works fine???

its a 15a fuse. not sure if im looking at the right one because it is the 3rd one over ifyou count the two 20a yellow ones which dont exist in the manual?

my harness for my fan is a little ****** up thats probably why. i think it fell into the fan at some point.

now were getting into you have to explain in detail to my dumb ass why the ECT and cooling fan have to do with my lean/rich mixture...

also you think my IAT sensor being gone?

Depending on coolant temperature, it triggers a relay which turns on or off the front 02 heater, from what I can see in the wiring diagram.

May very well have something to do with your IAT
