horn ?

why would you rather not say? I am curious cause only place i can think to put em is either in the fender of the front bumper, or behind the lower grille

just curious but to run a train horn don't you need quite a bit of air. i.e some pretty big air tanks. I was looking around my car and i have to agree with Pro5 i can't really see anywhere else to put the tanks, unless you have them in you're trunk or spare tire well?

my horn died too and i know at least 2 friend with proteges who's horn died the same way. It's pretty stupid the way they mounted it ! A metal unpainted part in the front grill right were all the water, snow and salt gets in !

If youre in a place with bad winters, go change your horn right now !

As for the replacement, pretty much any horn will do the trick so if you have an old junk car sitting around, take its horn and put it to good use !

I've seen the train horns before, what I am calling BS is that they are on a Pro5.

I want to know how and where it's all mounted

I met a guy in Carlisle who was installing a horn from a NYFD truck. He was mounting it in front of his radiator on custom brackets. IIRC he was going to run it off an air compressor in the trunk.

I don't have pics but saw the horn mounted on brackets. He had just gotten the car back from the shop (engine repairs) and didn't have time to hook it up before the show.

Alright, i believe you Jeff

But, i still want pics of JDMBullet's
