Help Please-Emergency

So do you think if I replace the WGA then it should leak oil less or maybe not at all, since the WGA controls some of the turbo internals. Thinkin about gettin the Forge also.

I recommend the ATP.. lot of ppl have problems with the forge. I wouldn't expect this to change your oil leakage though.

Okay, I don't know if anyone is still reading thid thread but I just installed my atp wastegate actuator and it isnt working as well as i hoped. My car is running alot better and isnt stalling anymore but now my turbo doesnt seem to want to boost. Anyone know the problem.

well, theres no adjustment on the ATP so thats not it.. you're sure its hooked up correctly, both mechanically, and to a solid vaccume source?

Im sure its hooked up corectly, the only thing i second guessed is the i had to twist the arm for it to go onto the knob where the clip goes, and as far as vacume lines, all my vacume lines are are as tight on everything as they can be so there is no leak, and my wastegate is hooked up to the greddy boost controller but I tried to run it with it off and it still boosts like crap.

sounds like a WG leak... does it boost at all? comes on really slow/late?

I'm assuming you have a boost gauge on there...

yea, the greddy boost controller acts as a boost gauge, and what is happening when im driving is when I push on the gas and i try to boost in the higher psi ranges, it like starts to cut out. Should I try to put on larger boost lines?

I also checked the ATP before i put it in and it was air tight.

I ran with the boost controller turned off which would make it run stock boost and it still did it so do you think it is fuel cut?

well, if its absolutely just falling on its face, thats fuel cut. if its just bogging down some (not accelerating like it should) thats something else... do you have a CEL on? did you reset the ECU?

Yes i did reset my ECU, but what is a CEL and I dont think I have one?

It boggs down. It does well in low psi ranges but as soon as it even starts to reach the higher ones, it boggs down.

id say about those ranges if i were to try to boost but if I slowely reached those ranges, it probably wouldnt bogg because i wouldnt be boosting.
