Okay, so about a month ago in early February, I was driving on my way to school, I was stopped at a stop light then when the light turned green I tried to accelerate but my car started to bog, I let off the gas and pushed back on it and it was fine. I had to go to school so I went on with my day and when I drove my msp home it was fine. It has been driving fine until yesterday when I was at a light and my engine started to bog without me even accelerating. The best i could describe it is my engine was burping. I tried to accelerat but my engine had an extreme loss of power and it seemed my turbo wasnt even spooling up. At that point i was rolling a little bit so i let off the gas and pushed back on it and it began to drive okay but it is happening frequently. Can anyone help me.

Thats possible too, I'd go through all your basic stuff... new plugs, clean EGR, test WGA, make sure you don't have any boost leaks...

I recently replaced all the boost lines, I had the ngk v-power plugs in and it didnt seem like it was running good so i put in the ngk iridiums, somthing that i failed to mention before is that the oil line to my turbo is leaking oil a little, not enough for there to be spots on my garage floor but enough for there to be like a muddy oil build up around that area.

Also a little more information about my problem, when my car newly starts up, i can drive my car for about 15-20 min until it starts to do the burping thing, and a little after it starts doing the burping thing when my msp is at a dead stop- it starts to stall when i accelerate. It runs okay in about 3000-3500 rpm and if i try to boost in about 4000 rpm then the engine starts to bogg.

No CEL?

I'm gonna lean toward your WGA... pull the vac line off of the wga and blow in it.. if you get any air through, thats your problem.

Okay, ill check that out when I get home, Also- has anyone had an oil leaking problem around their turbo oil line. I was used to there being a little oil around where the line is connected to my turbo, but I have oil all on my heat shield for the oil line and all on the bottom of my oil tank and yes the oil tank bolt is on tight.

Im running castrol syntec 5w30 with 53,000 miles, no i havnt done any internal work, and if banged in to u mean like car accidents then no, I havnt had any car accidents that would have damaged my engine. my profec boost controller says that I have boosted over 130 if anyone is familliar with the profec, if that would have caused any internal damage.

I meant more of banged it with a wrench or something... I would run 10W-30 oil if I were you.. it will at least slow down the leak, and in my opinion protects the turbo better...

Okay, its about time for another oil change so ill probably put that in next, i put that Z-Maz into my system a couple months ago also so would that of made the oil a little thinner and made it start to leak

I checked my wastegate actuator and it is just about as easy to suck in and blow through as a straw

also check and make sure the charge pipes do not have any cracks in them if you are running the factory pipes.

So do you think if I replace the WGA then it should leak oil less or maybe not at all, since the WGA controls some of the turbo internals. Thinkin about gettin the Forge also.

Also, i would borrow a fuel pressure gauge and check to see if your fuel pump is on its way out... my MSP did something similar and I had to replace the fuel pump assembly, but has been running great ever since.

With a fuel pressure gauge hooked up the pressure would go from normal to 0 then back to normal then back to 0.

Yeah thats what I thought it was originally but then I had second thoughts. Any suggestions on where to get a new one
