Im now building my motor and was wondering if 8.1 comp. is low enough for 15lbs on a gt28rs, 450 horse intercooler, and full exhaust and all the fixxings. Need so info any real knowledge will help

8.1 is plenty enough but I am gettin my motor rebiult as we speak and i'm using 9.1 but with a cometic ( <--- I think thats you spell it) head gasket. I plan on running up to 450WHP.

Yea thats the same gasket i got. What tuner are you using to support yuor mods

I'm not too sure but I think you might have chosen the wrong turbo for your goal. I thought the disco was able to support to 350 + - a few hp. I'm looking at a gt30 style turbo for my goals, don't get me wrong if I weren't looking way beyond I'd be getting that turbo myself.

I'm actually gonna try to use the unichip, and when that is not enough I will move on to a haltech... I am also lookin forward to using a gt30 style turbo...

Go straight for Haltech or MPI. Don't bother with Unichip unless you have a Unichip certified show in your area. Honestly, I would look into the Thumper kit from MAM. It's a proven combo of parts and I believe it comes with a GT30:

yeah for sure there is no way you will hit 450whp with the disco, the GT30 yes, and I would not even consider running a unichip for that kind of power

Yea, i'm only gonna use the unchip till i can't get anymore out of it...( I have a tuner within 2 hours of me) i'm only expecting about 250- 275 whp with the unichip, but then will i get a better and bigger turbo and have to get a better ems, but for now i'm only using what i have for now...
