If you're wanting to run some wiring from inside of the car to the engine bay, there is a perfect spot between the main wiring harness and the brake pedal lever and behind the battery. It's a bump out on the firewall that's shaped like a dog bone. There's absolutely nothing on either side to hit. Drill it out, place a rubber grommet, and you're in business!
