Boost Gauge Help

i cant remember the size off the top of my head go to street unit they offer it and kinda state the size. you can use clamps or use a zip ties.

So you had to buy a vaccum hose for a boost gauge? I was gonna install my defi red racer gauge this weekend and would suck if I needed more vaccum hose

I was just about to start a boost gauge help thread!! hahaha!!

I just finished installing my defi red racer boost gauge last night! I hooked it all up to make sure it works, all I need to do is extend the ground so it will reach to where I want to mount it. I can take some pics later and post a little diy walkthrough on here if you want.

I was gonna post up a pic of my fusebox and ask if it's safe.... I didn't wanna hack and slash my way into any more wires after my turbo timer, so I followed one member's instructions and tapped into the fuse box. Including the one already there for my radar detector, this makes 4 add-a-circuits... yikes. But really the install was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

The other issue I have is right now I get opening ceremony but no closing ceremony. I do have a turbo timer installed, but even if I turn the tt off and let the car shutdown naturally I don't get it.... the needle locks just shy of zero like it's trying but gets cut off. I think I am tapped into cig lighter for 12v, brake lights for something, and then illumination for illumination. Ideas?

Damn, sorry for the long post!! :D

i got a free boost gauge. only thing it had a short vacuum hose. so i need to get a longer one. the hose that was on it was skinnier than the bpv hose. so i didnt wanna risk it.

Here's what I've got hooked up. A few pics from the vacuum line back.....

Wires coming through the firewall. I had to extend these and run them behind the radio to the fusebox under the glovebox

It's raining right now, it's Friday, and I just don't feel like finishing the install. All I need to do is extend my ground wire and choose a mounting location. I want a vent pod but it's gonna be a while so double stick tape and the a-pillar it is methinks. Finished pics tomorrow????
