2019 CX-9 GT Sideview mirror problem

:
CX9 GT
Hello Mazda Techs. 2019 CX 9 GT here. The driver side view mirror broke, and I replaced it myself to save on cost. I got 2021 replacement mirror from Ebay thinking it would be a direct fit, plug and play. It was not, I had to take all the internals out of the old mirror and swap it in the 2021, also had to splice the wires to fit the 2018. Everything worked, but the camera faced a little crooked. I must have installed the camera a little twisted as the camera housing was a little different in 2021 mirror. So, I took it to a dealership to get the cameras calibrated thinking that would make it point the right direction.

Unfortunately, they are saying it did not take calibration and now entire mirror will have to be replaced costing upwards of $1400. Everything works; blindspot, heat, surround view etc but I have lost the guide lines in all camera configurations. It also shows a red circle on the camera as showed in the picture.

I can certainly live with it. $1400 is not worth the benefit I think. Perhaps you know a work around, some fix for this. I am fairly handy.
