Received my armrest. Big props to Boomerang for quick shipping, and following my request to ship it via USPS (to avoid brokerage fees).
However! The pictures in the instructions absolutely suck. It took me a few mins to figure out which parts of the console to remove first, since their diagrams loosely depict only an auto gearbox. My next complaint is lack of torque specs. I cranked one of the double-sided posts too tight and one snapped off. Looks like a hard-to find bolt, and now I've got to drill out the broken bolt to take it out. I've emailed Boomerang, hopefully they can set me up with a replacement (fingers crossed). For now, I've secured the armrest with three of the four bolts, and it seems pretty solid. Next: the crush washers supplied were too small to fit over the M10 thread on the posts. I didn't have any replacements at hand, but I spread them using vice and a screwdriver. Come on guys, get the hardware right...
Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the construction and aesthetics of this thing. I think I'll lower it down in the future, though, seems like it could go down a few cm's if I drill a few holes.
