Ed--

Don't know what you're looking for in the exhaust department, but if you're going header, I have an MSP cat pipe complete with both front and back cats. Working perfectly when removed from a part-out MSP.

This part of the system gets rid of both your cats and will fit under the P5.

So what you have will not bolt to stock manifold? Does it include cats or is it to delete the cats? thanks

Don't have a pik of the cat pipe, but can supply here if interested. This unit consists of two cats--primary and secondary, which on the turboed MSP replace the OEM "trash can" pre-cat hanging off the P5 exhaust manifold and the second cat downline under our cars before the muffler.

There is a bung between the two MSP cats for the second o2 sensor, which needs an extension harness to make the distance between the original second bung placement on the P5 (which moves back with MSP 2-cat pipe) to the wiring harness on the front right side of the block (you can see the second o2 sensor lead coming up from the lower left side of the block on your car). These extensions are available in four lengths ready to plug in, from Caspers Electronics www.casperselectronics.com/ in Mundelein, Illinois. They are professionally done and relatively inexpensive. I have a 40" extension on my P5 that cost me around $42 or so, including mailing. Works like a charm.

Since I have a 4-2-1 header and 2-pipe "J" pipe from header back about 18" to cats and exhaust system, I had to have an extension harness to second o2 bung to prevent CEL from popping and staying lit when I cut out the OEM cats. I didn't want to mess around with the o2 spark plug extenders available from various sources which claim to eliminate the need for a second cat. I tried one and it crapped out within 500 miles and the CEL came back on. Not worth it, as far as I'm concerned. Also tried a chip solution that lasted 2000 miles...

If you mount the MSP 2-cat pipe, a good muffler shop can make the minor pipe mods needed to fit the cat pipe to a P5 with a header and either 1) the stock muffler/tailpipe arrangement or 2) a good aftermarket catback (highly recommended for performance/ efficiency), which I have on the P5.

The header, revised cats and cat-back muffler system added around 7 whp and 12+ lbs/ft torque (dynoed) to my engine.

Hope this helps.
