i live in springfield mo and have the back windows and top of the windshield 5% and the front doors 35% (darkest legal in MO) and really like it. Other than really bright days, it is hard to see in the car but it isnt too bad to drive. little hard to back up on a dark night, but that is why we have power windows isnt it?

Got my front windows tinted today. for $50. got them 32%. not bad.

i got limo tint on my back windows. and im thinking aobut going 30% for my driver and passenger side windows. i just seen someone with their wind shield tinted. is that legal?

And if you get pulled over. how big of a ticket are you talkin aobut here?

Are you sure it was on the front?? I don't think any shop in their right mind would do that. Allot of cars look like the front is done after the sides are done.

I'm not saying you are wrong...but s***, that's just asking for the cops to pull you over.

And i heard that you can get some stickers from tint shops saying that the tinit was legal. Someone posted it. Does anyone know where i can get those in california?

I think that means like 70% Top to Bottom. Like the blue bar at the top of most car windows from the factory. No?

EDIT: Oh my apolgizes. I didnt get the windshield tinited. Left it. And the guy said he wont do it. Thought you were talkin about driver and passenger side windows.

in missouri you can tint the top 6 inches of the windshield as dark as you want. any lower and they can give you a ticket. they will write you for driving with an obstructed view.

just got my windows tinted today, 20% all around for $160. Looks great! Tell me more about the stickers thing. I saw a sign at the tint place that said free stickers with tint. What's the deal?

i think if u go the dmv and tell them that u get ur windows and its under the legal % they'll give you a sticker so that cops can see it. i dont think they have it in california. thats y i dont really want to waste my time going to the dmv and waiting in those long lines.

The dude that did my windows had a 5 series BMW, and his tint was 5% all around and 20% on his windshield, hehe, looked bad ass on his black car, but something i wouldnever do

Dude, you guys are lucky you guys can have dark tint. In ohio, it's GAY! ur only allow to have 50% front, passanger, & rear unless u have a SUV. Well I got 50% around done last week. Doesn't look too bad on black. I'll try to get a pic of it but u guys are soo lucky

well the law for Pennsylvania is actually 70% but i just decided to take my risks because although my car has PA plates (parents), i will be living in Missouri (college)

you know y some of these tint shops tint their vehicles with dark tint and drive around happly with no worries. its becuz they got ways around it. i had a chat with the owner and he was telling me that he "knows people!" But unlike us we drive around get tickets and b**** about it. lol. Was tryin to get him to hook me up too. but that went no where. lucky punks

exactly, he told me his buddy runs a dealership and got him a dealer plate for the car, from Pennsylvania, and he works in Maryland so they don't really hassle him
