Window Tinting

Yeah, I have 35% which is the legal limit here in CT, and it's not nearly as dark as I wanted it. I've been hassled by the cops about it and it's barely a tint, so I can't imagine the s*** I'd go through with anything darker. The cop also told me I need a "sticker" from the tinting company saying it was a legal percentage. I've never heard of that, but you may want to ask I guess. Mine cost about $130 to do all windows except the windshield.

the sticker saying they're legal comes from the dmv, i got pulled over for it before and had to go to the dmv to make sure they're legal. it's 35% on driver and passenger, anything on the others including the back as long as you have a passenger side mirror.

Missouri recently legalized driver and front passenger tinted windows. I have slightly darker tinted rear windows and it doesn't look too bad...didn't have a choice still it was a dealer option. Mica Msp's just look damn good with black tint!!!

It looks good dont get me wrong, but w/ all the black surrounds on the windows IMO Black tint seems to flow better. I almost went w/ the platinum till I thought about the MSP had all the black surrounds.

I got 20% on the MSP. I had 5 on my Grand Am GT and it was just too dark at nite.

I see what you are saying however there was a white P5 around me when I bought mine and I thought there was just too much black. I wanted it to look unique as well. The silver seems light from the inside.

I think 35% all around looks just fine. Night driving is good, and you really have to get up to the window to see anything. (this is especially good when you have packages in your back seat.) Plus, our interiors are dark as well, and that seems to make the tint seem darker. But man, I must have gotten freakin' jacked at the tint shop. It cost me $245. That included $7 for each sticker. (x 7 windows = $35) Lifetime warranty, though.

Nextruss- If you get anywhere near North Kansas City check out Tint Master/ 816-616-8468. I have two other numbers if that doesn't work.

I will be going to him once I get money for tint.

Here in MD, the law is 35% on the front windows. If you have a truck/SUV, you can have anything on the back windows. Personally i've always run 20% tint with no hassles. IMHO 35% is too light, and 5% is way too dark for driving at night. 5% will also get you pulled over pretty quickly.

I have 20% all around with 5% on the sunroof. Paid $240 for it with a lifetime warranty.

I have been told that it looks great by everyone that sees it. Even the cop that pulled me over and gave me a speeding ticket said he liked my car.

i got limo tint on my back windows. and im thinking aobut going 30% for my driver and passenger side windows. i just seen someone with their wind shield tinted. is that legal?

And if you get pulled over. how big of a ticket are you talkin aobut here?

tint on the windshield is a big fine and its a fix it ticket..you have to go court for that...

i jsut got back form Custom Auto in Oakland. And dude has a SUV and he was tint all around. Including windshield. He had some tight ass spinning rims too. anways. Yea gettin my front windows tinted tommorow for 50 bucks. not bad. Going for 32% tint.

Driving a hot spicy orange fast looking car with dark windows.

I have limo tint on my rear windows and haven't had any problems for since I got it. It's hard to back up at night though.

when i got my car tinted it only cost me 110.00 for my BMW 540 all the windows, platinum tint...and i got my truck done for 40.00...
