what have i done to my p5 today? i just took some more of the motor apart to take it out!! gotta replace it. the whole bottom end went out and now im trying to find a mazdaspeed protege engine to replace it with. ive talked to a powertrain expert and he seems to think and according to his records the motor should bolt right in. matches the p5 tranny (minus the lsd unfortunately) but atleast it would be faster!!!

I know this has been said several times but the P5 motor and MSP motors are the same. Only diff. is the MSP has a turbo.

Talk to Ken over at http://www.protegegarage.com You can get a 2.0 for the P5 for $999 or go forged for a couple thousand and really build it for some booooost.

I got my whitemp5seattle racing mods in the mail yesterday!! Polished daveb rings and a mazda 6 wiper. I got the rings, but, I ended up brushing them and the wifey got the mazda6 wiper. Thanks jeffery!!!!

DROVE HER!!!! w00t!

I haven't driven any car in about 3 weeks. Damn it's good to be home. And it was even better to have the protege waiting there patiently for me :D

Welcome back Andrew. Need to update your sig though.

Yo whats up with sig...Did you score some mazda3's? what did i miss?

Transported tires for the MPV.

I discovered tonight that while 4 205/50/16 tires fit nicely across the back of the P5, a set of 4 225/60/16's are too big to fit behind the back seats.
I had to lay down the seats, then I got 3 tires laying down flat, one in on an angle. Not bad.
