What have you done to your P5 today?

oh you just need a hug! (humpleg). i still find proteges to be very fun and beautifullll cars, especially sunlight silver. and +1 on mazda 3 wheels. i was always torn about what wheels i liked more, my 3 wheels or the enkeis.

Well of course considering the 3 wheels were made by Enkei. ;)

Drove to staples over lunch to ship the MSP engine cover and DGM brackets, also filled the tank.

Anyone looking for a MSP VC? haha

Final cf touches on the car. I installed the grille about a month ago but just got the badge and the eyelids.

decided that i dont want to respray the p5 anymore, and would rather go invest in the stock MSP turbo and boost this wagon for some extra ponies and continue to mod the boosted p5 in the future.
the wrx sti can wait cause too many financial problems at the moment... :(

New brakes, calipers, fluid flush, oil change and cleaned up the interior. Ready and packed for the track this weekend!

Tried to find a plcae to install the airhorns again... getting really frustrated..

What I've tried:
- upper grille (obvious fail)
- lower grille (another fail that I thought may have worked)
- in the driver's side fender (ran out of time and was getting frustrated since I couldn't really get in there so gave up)
- relocate coolant overflow tank and squeeze it in there (no luck, not sure if I can make a new bracket for it or something to move it to free up space.)

Any suggestions? Maybe move something around to make room, hide them somewhere, etc.

Although I did do all the wiring and hook them up to hear how they sounded. I may be deaf in my right ear..

Also, I want to swap out different struts/springs (they already have springs on and it'd just be a direct swap.), do you guys have any tips for someone doing it their first time? Want to save some money and do it myself.

if you extend the air hoses you can mount the horns behind the front grille and mount the pump else where

As for the suspension replacement spray your endlinks with penetrating oil the night before lol

(horn)what about putting a bracket on the side wall below the coolant overflow?

suspension - thanks for the tip. I was told i'd need new endlinks, but if i soak them enough, they should be alright, right?

horn - good idea, I'll give that a try. If that doesn't work I'll extend the airlines, I I might just extend them from the start to make life easier.

Anyone know how large the inlet is on the Mazdaspeed axleback?

Should be same as stock I think.

Received a call from the shop that, after over 2 months of waiting, my Carbing front strut tower bar has arrived in the states WOOT.
