What have you done to your P5 today?

Got the newly powdercoated wheels mounted at about midnight just in time to fly out of town for the weekend.............
Don't pay much attention to the dirty ass car. Feel free to check out the wheels though.

typically I don't like black wheels but I give it a thumbs up. your car looks mean now.

I thought the black wheels gave it a bit of a sinister look myself.

Man, it's bad inside and out. Frankly, I haven't really given a s*** about it either. Kinda had lost some interest in it really..............although the new wheel look gives me a bit of a boost. Might try to clean her up this weekend.

love the Avatar caption...
Haha, something tells me alaska isn't much more exciting than RI. Although, I'll bet it's a lot prettier! Cookie monster > all.

yay for ryan! i'll be sending you off a check later this week man!

Installed the filler caps today. I like the look without the crossbars but yet she looks nekkid.

Now a damn thunderstorm is brewing....so much for the wash and wax job this last weekend. Now I will get to see how the Ice holds up.

When I took off my crossbars, people asked if I dropped her.

My crossbars got busted in the move, so I am thinking of the Rack delete option.

Got mine washed today, but i'm going back tomorrow because they missed alot. Good thing they have a 48 hour garuntee. Thanks Simoniz! -Joe D.

(poke) you had someone wash you car.....where is the love man!!(glare)

Washed on Monday (lots of bugs and tar); waxed on Tuesday then took the ritual post-detailing joy ride. Used Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax - application was easy enough. My P5 is Sunlight Silver and after waxing, I didn't notice any added depth to the paint. Never had a metallic silver car before, so maybe waxing provides little eye-candy? It will be interesting to see how the wax holds up.

Yeah I had mine washed, for the first and last time. I heard this place was good, people were wrong. I just got back from having it re-washed and they still did a bad job. I love the car, but I had my 7mnth old twins and g/f with me, had too much stuff to do. I think tomorrow I will get the supplies and do it myself. Any recommendations as to what washing products I should get? So far I have...umm...none, so...yeah anybody got any suggestions? This is the first car I have had that isn't a POS and I want it to look nice. -Joe D.

meguiars car wash, bucket, mequairs bone sponge, clay magic clay bar, mequiars gold/nxt/turtle wax ice wax, mequiars polish, 6 microfiber towels, mequiars tire shine and a chamois would be a good beginners kit
