What have you done to your Miata today?

Kind of like a faint squeal or whirring?

You can really hear mine well when you are next to a building or another car.

I have a whirring when I put the clutch out in the lower gears and driving slow, goes away once the car picks up some speed (not too much). Nothing like that video though

Hell that just might be differential noise.

I'm about to go drop it off at racekor shop.

Fix it yourself, pansy, it's a $60 part. What're you going to pay in labor for that mess?

I'm getting a new clutch too. I don't have the time or knowledge (or a lift) to pull a transmission out of my car.

You don't need a lift, you need basic hand tools, jack stands and an internet connection. I didn't have any experience dong a clutch, or brakes, or suspension, or seats or wiring the first time I did those either. If you want to learn, learn. If you just don't want to do it, say so, but don't say "I can't do it because I don't know how."

Racekor shop was busy at sebring doing racekor things... Even though the owner said he would be there and have somebody fix it for me today...
I just want the car done, so i can drive it normally again. Like I said I dont have the time to fiddle with it even if I wanted too. Would I like to learn? yes, but maybe on somebody elses car when I have actually time.

Hello from Germany. Today I've made some cleaning and put my "new" seat in the car. I also want to remove the dashboard but first I have to search for a deinstallation manual. In the last corner of the car I have found 3 "1/4Dollar coins". (breakn) Very funny. Its an Import from California.
Here are some pics:

^ noice, I'm sending a turbo to BEGi to be inspected and see if its worth rebuilding\upgrading\porting. If that doesn't work out, I'll be installing an AEM EBC when its warm again. I'm also waiting to hear from a guy about sponsorship for the car, looking forward to a good discount on parts.

I still need to get around to installing my V-maxx coilovers. And V-maxx butterfly brace & rails. Both sitting in the basement.

I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to be night-and-day.

i KNOW it will be for mine! lol

3 blown illuminas and 1 stock NB shock with NO travel

hey m2. nice job. what seat do you have?

as far as my build not much has happened yet. But my brother is looking for a miata, mk3 supra, or an mr2. so I a have been looking around for a good NB for him.

It will be.

Since it was warm today and my cough subsided, I spent a couple of hours quality time with the Miata. Pulled the supercharger, radiator, upper intake mani and alternator. Found a couple of issues (missing nut from lower 'charger support and some other minor things) that will be corrected, I'm just glad that nothing caused a bigger problem. Looks like my slight coolant leak is coming from around the oil cooler, I'll have a better idea once I pull the lower intake mani.

Installed a new battery. And discovered a cracked positive terminal clamp (got an Autozone replacement for $4). And a cracked battery tray. Dealer has that for $17 but they were closing and I couldn't make it in time. Debating if that's even a big deal.

Oh, and I killed an annoying rattle (victory dance) that was apparently the battery tie-down. It's gone now with the new battery installed.

Personally I'm anal about that sort of thing, but you don't need to go to the dealer. Check with Panic Motorsports or The Parts Group, they sell a complete battery setup cheaper than just the tray. Keep in mind the tray gives you some protection should there ever be a spill.

Added some horsepower!

...to the toolbox (unamused)
