Laser Blue Protege5 Build

Looks to me like one of all the other 4-1 short tube headers that are available for the car. Back in the day, the one tog et was either the 4-2-1 AWR header, or the 4-1 long tube RActive header. There was also a long tube 4-2-1 JDM header, but that one required some re-work to the mid cat pipe to make it fit.

You could also make the 626 / MX6 / Probe 4-2-1 long tube header fit with some re-work to the EGR bung location. It might have needed some re-work to the mid cat pipe, too.
Now I am looking for a cat back exhaust since I am still running stock behind my gutted second cat. Any recommendations?

How much do you want to spend? Also, there aren't too many product still available for this chassis.

Racing Beat makes a great product, and will give reasonable sound behind a cat-less header. But, the cost is quite a bit higher than some of the cheap "EBay" style products. Megan Racing makes a fart-cannon style exhaust for (relatively) pretty cheap. The Megan exhaust is probably going to be pretty loud, too.

Full cat-less... I would probably recommend Racing Beat. It will keep it relatively quiet, and still have decent sound.

@njaremka I looked at Racing Beat. Not too bad, but definitely wish there were more choices. I do not want the farther can sound for sure. I may have to go the Racing Beat route. Thanks!

Magnaflow made a great exhaust back in the day, and that's the one I ran on my Protege sedan. A little less expensive than the Racing Beat, and had a great subdued sound. Unfortunately, not made anymore.
