What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

i found a couple rust spots on my hood...looks like i'll be making a trip to the dealer in the semi-near future to get them fixed.

This is about as much as I did to mine today... Got in it and drove to work. :)

The window is clean. I sprayed it off when I went outside. Every time the wind blew today it was yellow outside. This is the worst I have ever seen the pollen.

ohh yeah forgot about the pollen.. not looking forward to that in 2-3 weeks.. boo!!.. i let my car sit outside all day last year jus to see how bad it could get.. it seriously was yellow..im going to do the same this year but ill take pics this time.. it was funny

lol. I'm mad I left my windows cracked at work the other day. Interior was yellow! cleaned that and found out powder coating dust settled on my dash and white specs baked on. I parked on the paint line side of my plant that day. We use powder to paint all the parts. Sometimes the filters let off dust into the air. I wont park on that side anymore.

thanks. yesterday i got tint put back on my front windows after having it takin off cause i got pulled over here is how i had it:

20% front and 20% rears

then no tint on the front, 20% rears

then 35% on the front and still 20% rear

so happy to have it back on, just didn't look right without it. and i got it done for free.

I re-installed the hd lip, nightshade'd the tail lights, blacked out the front emblem, and cut rear emblem into evil M and blacked out.

lolz, yay im 35% all around, perfect blend of dark, but daytime sun goes through just barely enough for cops to leave me alone. nighttime it blacks out ofc.

as far as the whole tires debate, im running 225/40/18s, i have since owning the car.
prolly could run 45s for a smoother ride. and still not rub.
I wont add any additional points to thte debate, because all the info provided makes it pretty clear.

Physically, i did see how much wider mark's 215 tire was compared to my old 225s, and just recently learned at the tire shop i went to that Eagle GTs have that lip protector which physically adds a bit more rubber width to the sidewall... making it bulge out.

so *technically* yes it is still a 215 with a visible bulge that makes it *look* a little larger than its called out size. now i know why.

Riding on my 3rd revison so far. Fuel trims are spot on. Car definetly feels stronger. Still getting a slight hesistation on the top end of 3rd gear. I think I will order some fresh spark plugs.

I haven't driven my car in 2 weeks...All I can do is walk by each day while I am at WLC for the Army. It's rained and we have had small hail while I am here. And we are not allowed to go to our vehicles.......I am ready to drive my car.

When i bought my car they done my windows all around for free 15% all around, next day proud as i could be went to dinner with one of my buddies and got pulled over. Cop tapped on my window with a paint scrapper, i could of cried...:( had to take it out on McDonalds parking lot. Then i moved back home and got the fronts done again with 35% and only been pulled over once since haha $25 tint tax, i can live with it lol

There is a guy near me who has 5% on the sides and rear. He also has curtains on the side windows. Its a chrystler 300m. He has 5% tint on the front windshield covering down over a foot. He probably has all of about 12" to see out his front windshield.

My old cavalier had 2.5%, limo tint, can't see how in the world i drove with it, not only could you not see in on a sunny day but you couldn't see out.

I also have the front windshield done on my 6 but only a 6" strip :)

It's truly surprising how having an extremely light film put on the windshield greatly cools the car down in the summer. I had a mirrored finish 70% layer on the windshield of my BMW. You could never really tell it was on there and it helped so much.

Yeah being in florida its a must. I left my front 2 windows right on the legal limit which I regret. Should have made them a touch darker. Think my rear windows are 20% like bova's.

Installed my MS CAI today, sounds beastly.

I need to tint my windows too, haven't decided how dark yet, between 25%-35% I think.
