What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I tried everything. I used a jack, pry bar, screw drivers, I even bent the frame mount back slightly.

If you're talking about where it mounts to the car (and not the engine) you have to go up and over like the shape of a lower case 'r' in order to get it in there. The engine mount sits in the frame mount in a way that will hold it there without the bolt and just dangle.

Voting is up for MOTM this month.

Walked out to my car tonight, man does it pick up the light. I don't think I've ever seen it look as good as it does now.

Post pics tuner! I gave mine a good wash today. Spent over 2 hours washing and drying. Then drove down a road and this idiot had just cut the grass and had a leaf blower blowing all the leaves and grass into the street!! He blew it all straight at my car when I went by. I hate people who cut the grass and blow it all into the street.

I had to make mine fit as well. I think the clips on theinner part had to be cut for it to slide up in there nice. I just cut one side.
Cut it with what? I'm not about to weaken that mounting surface. It seems a tad bit important.

Up and over. Did that. I can get it to slide into place far enough to get the bolt started. Used a jack to get the front close but then it just slips back and stresses the rear bolt. It's like the AWR mount is just too wide. The front won't just slip in either, the shim in the rubber is half a mm too wide and has to be force in as well.

i drove my car for the 1st time in like 5 months. lol. then i slapped on the Street unit trunk brace, and GTspec trailing links i had bought over the winter. gonna toss on the magnaflow exhaust today if i have time.

BacDoc - It does'nt weaken it. The clips on the innder side are simply there to hold the stock piece in place. No need for it on an aftermarket one. I used pliers on mine and bent it back and forth to break it off. I didn't take them all the way off. Just enough to make the new one slide up in there.

well, after a week of driving the car with the dealerships permission since it had a broken cv joint, it got to the point where the joint actually started making noises like it was broken, so i dropped it off at the dealer even though the parts wont be in till wendsday....

AND i woke up this after noon to my father informing me that he put one of my smart keys through the wash(notcool)

Rez, that thing shines up nice. White is a totally underrated color.

Are those MS3 wheels? This is the first time I've seen those on an MS6. They look great. They also look like they'd be a sight bit easier to clean than the stockers.

Yep, MS3 wheels...much easier to clean.

Nice rez! but why the speed 3 wheels . . . eww !!

Four-letter word...FREE...my best friend owns the MS3 that they came off of...I know, MS3 fail...but I've always liked their wheels better.

Although, I really like the wheels that M4TIC has, may go with those.

It rained this morning and it looks like s*** again. Water beaded up beautifully, but I don't have time right now to wash it.

35 watt. After seeing the output from the 35w, I can't imagine that anyone would need the 55w. The parking lights are the ones on the inside, closest to the grille. They're not nearly as bright as the picture makes them look, but, then again, they're not supposed to be too bright.

What other pics would you like? I do take requests... (thumb)

Here's the other thread I mentioned:
