This may seem like a stupid question, but on a msp is it not advisable to have any ud pulleys, or would it be ok to have a set from SR motorsports which only consists of the alt, and water? I was told a udp for the crank was terrible, and not advisable for the msp at all, but just curious if these also would be a bad idea? Thanks.

IMO UDP's are bad in any situation. Just my opinion though, others will disagree. The risks just aren't worth it to me

crankwalking, wearing out crank bearings, etc. basically, if you were NA, maybe consider doing it because it does give hp, but on a turbo engine, there are 100 other things to do to get reliable hp before you even need to think about an UDP.

go onto the supraforums, and then serach for UDP. many a blown engines have been created by putting on a lightweight udp without a harmonic dampner.

i am kinda a hypocrit, because on my NA laser project i did get a UDP. but it was NA!

they are fine for N/A,but don't use crank pulley, because it won't dampen or balence as well, and end up causeing a lot of wear.

I thought just the crank pulley that wasn't a great idea... Wouldn't accesory UDP's be okay on our car?
