According to his dealership, two wires snapped out of the piece that connects the harness to the MAF. Only way to really fix it is to get another one and splice it to the harness. They can't find a used one and buying new means the whole harness has to be bought for $2500. I've got Chris and my parts guy trying to find one as well.
Why is that the only way to fix it? I have reattached wires to broken clips before, it should be possible. You have the wire, you have the clip. All you need to do is reattach the two. This was done on older cars, so it may not be possible with the 3. I'm betting there is a way to do it though.
