And thank you! It was time to change it up from the car that I don't have anymore so Scrooge was a logical choice.
I don't like when people ***** themselves out on FB, mostly my musician friends. Kinda one of the reasons I'm glad I'm not in a band right now. Musicians just use FB as a marketing/promotional tool. Goes along with their bulk texts "Hey _____, my band is playing ______ tonight at __ pm! You should check us out! See you there!". Aaaaaaand you're now dead to me. Just like Sahlens.
I like instagram. Twitter drives me nuts too. My sister's generation is huge with it. She posts everything and I mean everything. Like who cares enough about you to want to know when your taking a dump or going to McDonald's for lunch nobody cares lol/ Instagram I can follow car stuff and unfollow people when they post too much non car stuff. There are no pictures of anything other than my car on there

I'm with Patrick there. I don't know why people need to share everything with everyone else. I could see having an account to follow race teams, sports teams, bands, etc. But to follow your friends? "I had egg salad today for lunch". Grumpy cat - no one cares.
That's how I use it, I block most the feeds on my time line. I do share the occasional pics, mostly of Kennedy though.
Sometimes it is complicated and for reasons you can't disclose... (I know I know, "if you can't share it, you shouldn't be in it"... Idgaf)

Nate, I'm not attacking you and this is just a question I had for many friends with kids and FB. When or at what age, do you stop posting pics of your kids on your FB account? If you think about it, you're sharing their entire childhood with strangers to them. I think that would be weird as heck if I found out allllll my parents friends knew all this personal info about me since it was online. Just thinking out loud. Nothing personal or anything. I still like you.

Well, some pictures are just too cute not to share. I don't know what age you would stop, I guess when they stop being cute babies and become ugly kids. As far as pictures that may embarass her when she's older, I've decided embarassing her is part of my job as a parent. Just wait until I chaparone her Middle School dance.
I will say, since I don't carry a wallet, it's easier to pull up facebook to show pictures of her to people.
This has to be the most I've seen about FB while not being on FB. I'm with you Evan. There are very few people that I haven't met and that is because they are car or Mazda guys in general that I either get along with or usually post funny or useful information. Other than that I don't have that many friends on their either. My FB turned into a secondary car forum with all the group I belong to, but they will never replace you guys. I love you guys (tear)

I use FB to keep up with family and friends. I do have a number if friends between the race reams and crews. I do not post what I eat, etc. Since Lauri and I have family spread out across the country.
