Ok after driving car foe say 20 mins. i come to a stop at a red light the car is idle at 700 rpms. after sitting about 45 secs. the car vibrates violently and if i turn the steering wheel some it gets worse. I have a front apr motor mount in. But the stock ones on the other mounts. what do you think is the ptoblem. I checked all mounts they are good.

yes and if i rev it to about 1000 rpms it will subside alot. but if i let of gas to idle it shakes violently. I had the drive belt changed a month ago. Hmmmm maybe its the problem. Tension is good. And I had a new turbo installed factory warranty covered it. I also have the corksport s pipe installed same time. Its not cracked i checked

I have bucking issues and idle problems mine is about to be for sale too!!

Check for leaks. I'm about to make a photo guide of where to check for leaks. I just need to find a stock MSP to do so. It can also be some other problems like a solenoid or something fuel related. Your mod list also shows you have a AFC controller. Could be your idle cells on your map. Could also be a MAF voltage reading problem. Lots of possibilities out there. You need a multimeter to check the electrical parts.

Well when you turn the steering wheel, you're loading the engine more by causing the pwr steering pump to draw from the engine. Recheck all your belts and test for leaks. Its weird it'll vibrate but keep a consistant rpm...

I checked belts had drive belt replaced few months ago. I belive the battery is the problem. Ran battery test today at work found low voltage 12.1v. test shows replace battery. Also left headlights on for about 5 mins today. Car wont start slow crank. Then did test. so im going to replace the battery today. But i also noticed that when car is not boosted it will not idle hard or shake violently. Now when i boost the car hard it shakes very hard and a vibration in car.

Kind of hard for anyone to help you if you dont post specifically what you have tried and from what you have said it really doesnt narrow anything down but create more possibilities in addition to finding more problems. I wasn't being sarcastic in what I said if you misunderstood that.

How many volts does you car usually substain when boosting? I just replaced my battery too. It now stays at 14.7v when boosting. I don't know if thats normal or not. When was the last time you had the car tuned?

Its been about a year since tuning it. what battery did you put in. My volt meter reads 14.5 all the time while driving. but when heat or headlights are on it read 14.1

I put in an interstate battery. Mine is at 14.7 and then drops down to 13.6 intially when headlights/heat is on but goes right back to 14.7 seconds later.

YES I tried to reset ecu. I will figure it out this coming week. ill let you guys know when i put in new batery. hey what red top optima do our cars use.

I dont see how this could even be considered a battery problem........I dont see how a battery could make a car shake, and the car is run off the alternator. Possibly a leak, or the other mount it broken.

ok i have cleaned the throttle body with the bg induction service we use at work. about 2 months ago i did this. I checked all mounts they are intact. I think it's the s pipe i have corksport s pipe has no bracket to bolt to the engine where the stock one did. Which is causing the car to vibrate through the turbo and the manifold. Or im just gonna deal with it. Im going to change plugs and all vacuum lines this week and reset the ecu. But i did notice that when slowing down to make a turn the car shakes even more so when its under a load its worse. I have had the drive belt replaced a month ago. I have to check the power steering belt maybe its the problem.

well i put in the new battery today car runs better. I also replaced all vacuum lines. And biggest thing I found was a loose peice over the manifold on the back behind engine cover near throttle body. I was just very loose so i tightned it up. Car ran very good for over a 10 min drive. I must still drive it hard to see if it's going to shake or not.
